Headmaster Cross nodded, smiling slightly. "I see. That does sound like Rahvine. She must have traveled a great distance then...since I hadn't heard anything about a war."

"Mmm." said Headmaster Cross nodding thoughtfully. "...So now that you've taken the time to update me on Rahvine's activies, why don't you tell me about yourselves?"

Headmaster Cross shook his head. "I wouldn't say that. Rahvine has very few people that she considers her friends. She must see something in your friendship that she considers valuable."

Headmaster Cross nodded in understanding. "I see,...although knowing Rahvine she simply sees it as part of the choice she made in staying with you. Rahvine is headstrong enough that she rarely ends up doing anything she truely doesn't want to, even if others disagree." Headmaster Cross shrugged. "Her partnership with Kiryu-kun was proof of that..."

Rahvine sat beside DKiryu, fiddling absently with the gold ring for a bit before reaching over to touch his shoulder. "DKiryu. I have things I need to take care of at the Association, but I need to do them alone. You can stay here as long as you want. Headmaster Cross won't mind." Rahvine stood and headed back to the sitting room where she had left the others.

Rahvine knocked on the doorframe of the room, poking her head in. "...And a lot of people disagreed. Zero and Ha-...Aido-kun included." Rahvine shook her head. "Anyway I'm going to take care of my business at the Association. I left DKiryu in the spare room, he seemed to be enjoying the quiet. You guys can stay here or take a look around the town if you want. Just be careful." Rahvine nodded to herself, then left.

Headmaster Cross waved a hand in the air vaguely. "Don't worry about Rahvine. She can take care of herself, this isn't the first time she's been to the Association after all."

Rahvine glanced around warily as she walked down the street toward the Association. ...Well, now I can get this over with without giving him more time to stew... Hopefully I'll be able to make it look good without actually getting hurt much... As Rahvine passed by several people paused to watch her. This is one thing DKiryu will have to get used to. People staring just because he's a vampire, deciding if he's a threat or not...

Headmaster Cross nodded. "Of course. She's your friend."


Well, here I am... Rahvine sighed slightly, rubbing at her tattoo for a moment. "Well, here goes nothing." muttered Rahvine as she pushed the door open and went inside heading back toward her locker. The main room fell quiet save for some soft murmering. Most of the eyes in the room were focused on Rahvine.

"That sounds like a good idea." said Headmaster Cross nodding. He paused for a moment, then glanced over at Mia and Kyra. "What about you Kyra,... and Mia? You haven't had a chance to say very much."


Rahvine watched as one man headed into a side room. ...Well, I guess he should show up soon... Rahvine went to her locker and opened it taking out a couple boxes of anti-vampire bullets and dropping them into her bag. Rahvine reached back into her locker for some gun cleaning supplies when a hand suddenly grabbed the back of her head slamming her forehead against the door of the locker next to hers. "So,...you finally gathered the courage to show your face again vampire." rumbled a man's voice. "And this time without your friends to protect you."
