"Ah, I see." Headmaster Cross nodded then focused on Mia leaning forward slightly with a broad smile. "So...has my Rahvine been taking good care of you Mia?"


Rahvine turned to see the Hunter that had harrassed her and Aura last time standing in front of her with his fist raised. As soon as Rahvine turned to face him he swung, hitting her squarely in the mouth.
Rahvine was rocked back against the lockers, slipping down them a little before straightening and wiping the blood from her split lip off on the back of her hand. The man smirked already drawing his fist back for another hit. "What's wrong vampire? Too cowardly to fight back?"

"That's very good." Headmaster Cross nodded looking pleased. "Nicole,...would this perhaps be the pureblood vampire, Nicole that Rahvine mentioned had turned her?" asked Headmaster Cross looking over at Aura and the others.


The man swung at Rahvine again, this time Rahvine ducked to the side. The punched missed her partially, catching her along the side of her cheek. "Hold still vampire." grunted the man as he grabbed the front of Rahvine's shirt pinning her back against the wall. The man's next punch connected squarely with Rahvine's left eye, a slight bruise rising to the surface almost immediately.
From somewhere in the room there was a soft whistle, and the man half turned then pushed Rahvine roughly toward the lockers before stomping off. Rahvine slumped to the floor against the lockers, then looked up. On the second level, a tall, dark haired man with a large leather patch over one side of his face looked at Rahvine for a moment then went back into the room behind him. Rahvine looked down her face heating. ...So,...Yagari-sensi saw...

"I see." Headmaster Cross leaned back in his chair his expression turning serious.

Rahvine pushed herself up off the floor, keeping one hand against the lockers for support until she regained her balance. Rahvine finished gathering her things then left, followed out the door by murmers and eyes of the Hunters. Once outside Rahvine sighed, wiping at her mouth again. At least it's over with now...

"Excuse me for a moment." said Headmaster Cross as he glanced at a clock on the wall across from his chair. "Rahvine should be returning soon." Headmaster Cross nodded slightly, then left the room.

A moment later Headmaster Cross returned carrying a cloth wrapped ice pack, a glass of water, and a small paper packet that bulged with something inside. Headmaster Cross placed the glass, packet and ice pack on the table beside Rahvine's chair.
After going over to a picture laden bookcase and taking a small first-aid kit out of a cabinet beside it, Headmaster Cross went back to his chair putting the first aid kit on the floor beside his chair. "There. Now to wait."

Headmaster Cross shrugged. "Perhaps. But I'm sure Rahvine is fine..."

"Yeah,...mostly." Rahvine came into the room and plopped down into her chair. Rahvine picked up the ice pack and held it to her blackened eye, by now Rahvine's bruises had darkened to a purplish-blue color.

"Yeah, I'm okay Mia." Rahvine nodded as Headmaster Cross got up and went over to Rahvine sitting on a foot stool in front of her as he examined and tended to Rahvine's injuries. Rahvine glanced over at Aura as Headmaster Cross dabbed something on her split lip with a q-tip. "And you aren't going to be killing anyone Aura. I knew this was going to happen, and it's what I planned."

Rahvine sighed slightly looking over at Aura. Aura,...this is just how things are. That Hunter already had a grudge against me and Zero,... and publicly humiliating him last time just made things worse. This way it's over now.

Headmaster Cross stood moving the foot stool to one side before going back to his chair. "That wasn't bad at all,...now take the tablets Rahvine."

Rahvine nodded and picked up the paper pouch, shaking the pair of blood tablets inside into her mouth, following them with a drink of water.

Rahvine's bruises faded slightly, and she laid the ice pack aside turning her attention back to Aura. "Aura,...it really is okay. This isn't any worse than what I would get when Zero and I would spar."
Rahvine glanced over at Headmaster Cross, her face heating again. "Yagari-sensi was there though,...I'm not sure just how much he saw."
Headmaster Cross nodded, glancing over at Rahvine for a moment as he put the first aid kit away. "I see. ...Perhaps we may have another visitor later then..."
