Seriously, it's not that I don't like it, and I doubt Fish doesn't like it. Preference does not imply dislike of the less desirable object. You understand this is what I mean, correct? I don't want to be blamed for any unnecessary hurt feelings.

The game's a lot less fun than I remember it being when I'd rented it as a kid. Probably just nostalgia.

But yeah, I'm not saying I'll dislike the port. Not at all. I'm just saying that I like the original better because it actually has better audio and I'm used to the controls. That game has stellar sound design (mm, quite) and hearing it on the 3DS's great speakers with GBA-quality makes me frown. Just a bit.
Still one of my favorite games, though. And who knows what else they added in this version!

You're not going to hurt my feelings. xd
I just think you guys are making the sound being slightly less good in quality to be a bigger problem with the game than it actually is. It sounds fine to me, and it's still really fun, because it's basically the same game.

And man, it's the PERFECT game for 3D Classics. The crazy number of layers alone would make it fantastic. It has such great art. Not to mention that final boss fight in real 3D? I would buy it and if I could gift it, I'd gift it to so many people.

I don't get why throwing eggs has to work like a roulette. When was aiming in a game ever this much work?

you just hold the button down and let go when it's aiming where you want it to.

The Eleventh AK you just hold the button down and let go when it's aiming where you want it to. Right, but it's still pretty much a roulette that I have to use timing to aim where I want it to. I guess I can get used to it, but it's kind of a weird hoop to jump through to do such a basic action.
