It was pride that let me believe I could survive for the sake of spite. To feel unwanted, and never cope with that, but simply ignore it. When my pride is hurt, I feel worthless, just like that... and survival seems...

[Kegan] There was a time when I believed that the esteem of others did not effect my self worth. After a while it creeps into the equation, though... And when you're feeling weak, you are alone. [Kegan] Meta_Fish [Kegan] Yeah, who needs fine motor skills? Not as many as need good people skills. Ain't that the truth? I'm sorry I exploded at you the other day. You're entitled to your opinions. I don't expect anyone to walk on rice paper just because I'm unstable (Except you, David.) occasionally it feels like you simply don't care how what you say or do makes me feel. and I think that affords me some degree of negative reaction. I mean, you understand that I'm already subconscious to the obsessive level about how I may come off, right? I expect my chum s and buddies to maybe not try to make me feel bad about my social awkwardness. If I said something rude to you that night, it was in retaliation to you saying rude things to me, and for simply doing the same thing back, I'm sorry. But it gets pretty tiring when every time you play a game with one person that they have to comment every time they hit or kill you.

Sculpting is so unimportant that my high school art teacher just didn't count my rock sculpture (which I got a D on) at all and I ended up getting an A- or something.
When one of my friends found out about how bad my rock sculpture was she was like "Wow..." in a really judgmental way. God. PEOPLE!
