Okay not really I just happen to be here.

Oh holy ******** I do not like the look of the chogokin at all.
Of course I haven't seen/played/etc. any Persona games/etc. so I can't say much.

I guess it's a line focused more on robots?
The face is kind of odd (I like the figma better there), but aside from that the chogokin looks better to me. It also has a bunch of extra parts, which is nice because I actually like playing around with my figures.

Also, my Saber figma arrived yesterday. One side of her armor dress is bent oddly, and one of the wrist pegs broke when I was getting it out of the hand holder. stressed Apparently I can get a replacement piece for the armor, and I can sort of get the hand to stay after wrapping some tape around the remainder of the wrist peg, but it's kind of frustrating when the figure's giving me problems right out of the box.

The Chogokin line seems to have trouble getting faces right. Have you seen Miku? Two faces are fine but one is scaaaaaary.
But a lot of things on there just...bug me. The size of the hands, the placement of the head, the...knees...and it could just be the way they're posing it, but the torso just seems...stiff. But that's just me. Each to their own, etc.

Yeah, the older figmas tend to have pretty bad quality control issues (Goodsmiiiiile *fistshake)*. Careful with her hands, especially. Which Saber did you get?
I'm more of a Revoltech guy myself. Except Saber (or some of the newer ones for that matter (KENSHIN)). A lot of people on /toy/ hate Revos but I love 'em. Especially the new Eva ones.
Probably because, like you said, I like to play around with my figures.

Yeeeeah. I haven't bought any Vocaloid figures, and that's not doing anything to change that.

I got the regular version (armor version?), although I have the Fate/Zero figma pre-ordered (DAT SUIT). The figure of F/Z Saber on a motorcycle is gorgeous, but I'm not far enough gone to spend $150+ on one figure yet.

I ended up taking all of the hands out of the holder and just having them all be loose in the bag. The less I need to pull on those joints, the less likely they'll be to break.

That Kenshin revoltech, jeez. Alucard looks really bad too; hopefully these end up being the exception instead of what to expect.
I've only gotten two revos so far (Layton and Yotsuba), but I like what I've seen of the line so far.

Oh wait, I did watch the Magfest Egoraptor Panel, and Sequelitis was mentioned a lot. That was probably what made me think about Mega Man X. Escaflowne, though? No idea.

Ah yes, that figma. Not sure why there are so many out-of-box issues with it.
Also yes, F/Z Saber looks incredible. I think my friend has that on pre-order too. He also has every (and I mean every) Saber Figma so I know where you're coming from. The only Figma I have currently is Love Machine, and I'm currently after King Kazma and Samus.
I actually think Alucard looks okay, but the only reason I'd get him is to do a headswap with Black Vash (WHICH I TOTALLY HAVE).
I have...uh...18 revos. A good chunk of that being the entire TTGL line (sans Enkidu(du)) and Eva EVO 0-3. I'm hoping stuff like Jehuty is what we can expect and that stuff like Alucard/Kenshin are the exceptions...
On that note, have you seen Revo Edward/Alphonse? Al I have absolutely no problems with (looks like a damn statue), and Ed would be perfect if they could make the elbow joints smaller (a la EVO) and hide the waist joints (a la Vash).
As for preorders, all I have right now is Riobot Gurren Lagann. Glorious.
