3 things,

1: I could care less about the game, but I still think it's a terrible idea. You can have joke characters without bastardizing a fighter that -a lot- of gamers would have liked to actually see. Basically, imagine Megaman being announced in the next Smash Brothers, only to find out it's boxart Megaman. Think of how dumb that is compared to the real Megaman being in the game. If they had the real Megaman in addition to this, no one would mind.

2: This character was Inafune's idea.

3: It doesn't even really look like boxart Megaman. It looks like E. Honda in a Cyclops costume. If they're going to do something so stupid, they could at least get it right.

I dunno, aside from the crotch pieces and a bit of the leg stuff, it's pretty spot on. It looks like they were trying to go with the idea of a guy who put together his own costume. I recognized him on sight, without being told who it was.

And I knew it was Inafune's idea, actually, because I also read IGN.

I don't mind bad boxart Megaman. It was one of the few things Universe had going for it. But to cancel two Megaman games, have nothing planned for his 25th Anniversary, and all of the s**t about him not being in (U)MVC3 in any way other than cockteases in the background, costume switches and palette swaps for other characters, and THEN to have him show up as a Playstation Exclusive character for a Street Fighter x Tekken game, and not even be a real Megaman? It kind of sucks.

I don't get why Capcom treats Megaman like s**t lately, that's all. I guess they just needed an easy character to port from MVC3? Or two, since Pac-Man is one too?

Honestly, you can't tell Megaman fans not to be butthurt, because Capcom is pretty much saying that they don't give a s**t about him whatsoever with numerous decisions they've made with their games in the past however many months, and the only thing we get is this. If any of their past Megaman decisions had been different I wouldn't even really care. If they hadn't canceled Legends 3 or Megaman Universe, or kept him out of MVC3 completely, as well as its same-year sequel, as well as both games' DLC, I would be right there laughing too. He's a funny character, but come on. They're going out of their way to tell the Megaman fans "******** you guys."
