It's a very lonely way to feel when noone seems to share your particular interests and passions. There are some who are similar in some ways, but none who you can talk to about a great many things.

I feel overstressed, which is to say, "I feel stressed, period."

Yo David, I like Rooster Teeth. Still slowly burning through Wisenheimers, but not a huge fan of it just yet. The sky diving story in RT cracked me up, though.

With all these podcasts I don't know when I'll have time for another book. I suppose that's just as well since I don't know what I'd listen to next.

Listen to the 2nd last episode of Wisenheimers, it is the first one I heard and it was really funny.

I don't remember the sky-diving story... sweatdrop
I listened to the last Wisenheimers and then went to the beginning and didn't find either point very funny. It mostly has just seemed like uncomfortable humor and Yotom just makes bad jokes about nothing and can't speak very good English. I'll try the second to last one.

It was in Rooster Teeth.

Try seeking out those people. Google.com.

You're not going to find anyone that shares every single interest you have to the same degree. Even if you did, you wouldn't like them.

Not because I love the pot he's making, but just because it's an awesome monolog about pottery.

It's a really ancient art! I should learn some others.

I took a battery of standard career aptitude and values tests, and one of the biggest overlap of scores was in the Arts(Which are broken down into professional and skilled. I scored highly in both, wheras in other divided areas, I only scored highly in 1 of 2.). I've been thinking, actually, for months now, about how I have had many interests throughout my life, but have allowed my intense apprehension about people not taking me seriously stop me from pursuing any of them which were art related.

I have abandoned a lot of dreams, many because they were simply not really what I wanted, but some, particularly art and architecture, because I didn't think I was good enough to make it in those fields.

I abandoned ideas of being an architect because I didn't want to labor away in college for years just because I have a dumb dream of the perfect house I want to live in. And frankly, I still believe that's true. I'm barely impassioned about that.

I had a story I'd tell myself a lot, throughout various stages of my life that I'd be both a fantasy author and an animator. That still sounds rad, honestly, but I haven't spent serious time trying improve my ability to draw, nor have I written independently in many many years. I suppose I felt pressures from society, but I don't think I could blame them, because I simply wasn't confident enough in my own abilities to tell those people to ******** off.

Now I'm making pottery, and people tell me I'm good, and it feels good. It feels good to be expressive and have people take me seriously.

Yeah I got that it was in Rooster Teeth.
If it was from the last few I probably haven't heard it, cause I've been listening to Wisenheimers all day, every day.

Sometimes I wonder what other people's inner lives are like, because sometimes they give me the inkling that they are empty on the inside.
