Coryn snorted. "If I could shift at will do you think I would be in dragon form at the moment?" he asked angrily. "If I could, I would spend every moment in my true form, only changing to a dragon when nescessary!" he growled at Kolan, his frustration at his inablity to shift forms at will. Only two hours as a human . . . and only at night . . . Karelym's hand on him did not do much to ease his frustration.

(I'm finally home! I'm running to Arby's and then I'll be back the rest of the night <3)
Kolan blinked as comprehension dawned, "You! You're one of those bespelled humans!" He bared his fangs lightly, they'd crossed into his human form, "Why would you wanna be stuck in a wimpy human form? You've been blessed, moron! You don't deserve to be a dragon." He looked sullen now.
Karelym noticed his growing frustration and removed her hand, "Kolan, stop throwing a tantrum. Your Elder has decreed it-"
She was cut off by a sudden snap from Kolan, who glared at her, "Be quiet, wench! You know nothing you silly little girl!"

((Lols . . . dunno why I find it funny though . . . confused ))
With one swift movement, Coryn batted Kolan right into a tree with his paw. He bared down upon him, his face only a foot away from Kolan as anger flashed in his eyes. "You will NEVER speak to Karelym that way . . . she is not a girl . . . she is not silly . . . and she is NOT a wench. She is a wonderful and loving woman and a just and powerful leader and if you do not treat her with the respect she deserves then so help me I will make it so that you can never return to your dragon form." Coryn seethed, angry that Kolan would treat his vyallah with such disrespect. He then backed off and through their bind sent a thought to Kolan. Also, someone would have been bespelled eventually, and if it wasn't me I fear it would have been a worse man than myself. One who would believe that he did not deserve to be a dragon as you believe. However I know that I deserved the fate that was set upon me . . . it is my punishment for murder . . . he thought and then cut off their connection firmly so Kolan would not be able to respond back into his mind.

(*sneaks a post before leaving* *easily distracted* x-x O_o it's cause I'm such a funny person! <3)
Kolan felt himself being batted into a tree, stiffening with obvious surprise as the other came close. At the threat of never having his dragon form, Kolan cringed..that was a powerful threat indeed. He nearly responded until he heard the thoughts in his head, his brow furrowing slightly and he found the connection closed so that he couldn't respond. Standing, he glanced to Karelym and then Coryn, before shrugging, "Not a wench. Got it." His tone was somewhat dry, but otherwise unoffensive.
Karelym stepped to Coryn, looking up at him and placing a hand on him firmly this time. Shhh, thank you my vyallah. He's only a child though, his words do not hurt me. I care for yours only, my love. She smiled at him, I love you, Coryn.

((Yay!! A ninja'd post!!! ninja Yes you is very funny. Funny funny funny!!! . . . *blink blink* . . . I've had sugar . . . sweatdrop )) Coryn nuzzled his snout gently against Karelym, ignoring Kolan for now. I love you as well my vyallah . . . and that is why, though his words may not bother you, they rankle me more than words about my own self would . . . I dislike it when people do not give you the respect you deserve . . . he confessed to Karelym. He refrained from letting out a contented growl with Kolan so close, but other than that, he refused to let Kolan's presence cause him to cease or diminish his showing of affection towards Karelym.

(I'm alive! *yum yum* o-O Oh really? what kind of sugar?)
Karelym smiled as she was nuzzled, Thank you, vyallah. What would I do without my heroic dragon love? She pressed a kiss to his snout just as a loud bell rang seemingly out of nowhere. The meeting was adjourned. Portals began opening for all dragons who had homes elsewhere.
A portal opened for them and Kolan frowned, looking hesitant even as Karelym and a quickly shifted Rollan went to Coryn's back. Kolan chose to live in the dragon world, he didn't want to leave.
Karelym noticed and glanced down at him, "Are you afraid, Kolan?"
Kolan blinked before responding with a frown, "N..No!" He wasn't afraid..he'd just never left the dragon world since he'd been rescued..the other world meant humans..he didn't like humans.

Coryn rolled his eyes. "Either walk through on your own, or I will forcibly carry you through." he said, waiting impaitently for Kolan to pass through the portal. ((Chocolate . . . twisted ))

Kolan grimaced at that. There was no way he was getting carried around by Coryn, no way in Lower World. "Moron," he muttered irritably as he passed through the portal..falling about eight feet and onto the cave floor. He cringed with a low growl, one of his wounds opening a bit.
Rollan had snickered at Coryn's words, and now smirked with only a faint twinge of pity as he watched Kolan fall. The jerk deserved it though, for insulting both his brother and his brother's mate.

Coryn did not feel much pity at Kolan's predicament either and simply glided into the cave, avoiding a jarring experience with the floor. He then lay down so that Karelym and Rollan could get off his back wtihout much trouble. "Cave sweet cave . . ." he muttered sarcastically, so low, one would barely be able to hear it.

Kolan was the only one that caught it, since the others were busy moving from Coryn's back. Coryn didn't like his home? But then, being a human, why would he. That's right..he hadn't thought it through, but Coryn was a human..more reason than ever to hate the other..or was he like the other one? An elf? Elves were tolerable..but humans..his fangs bared at the thought.
Karelym slid off, staying close to Coryn, "Well that was a fun meeting," she said with wry amusement.
Rollan chuckled, "Yeah, especially the part where Coryn kicked that obnoxious dragon's butt.." He glanced to Kolan with mock-surprise, "Oh, that was you wasn't it?" Rollan smirked.
Kolan was stirred from his thoughts with a glare and a growl, "He did not!" And then with his own smirk, "Perhaps you'd like to fight me next, wolfling."

"Rollan has more strength than you in the form you're currently in, and will easily overpower you should you choose to fight him, because I'll not be giving you the power to change any time soon . . . not unless you've earned it or I need your help as a dragon . . ." Coryn said in a rather bored tone of voice. Kolan could be so stupid sometimes. He looked outside at the position of the sun. It was nearing dusk. The sun will set soon . . . I look forward to it . . . Coryn thought to Karelym, a small smile playing upon his lips.

Kolan frowned at that, growling lightly, "Like I would help you." The bored tone irritated him, but despite his brash nature, he was actually rather intelligent. And he knew well enough that trying to fight Coryn like this would only result in him truly losing, and he refused to lose to Coryn. With a final glare and growl, he stormed past them all and headed out of the cave. He knew the way a Bind worked, he wouldn't be able to go very far..but anything was better than being amongst the trio of buddies back there.
Karelym and Rollan watched him go, Rollan with a smirk, Karelym with a thoughtful expression. She sat down beside Coryn's paw, leaning against it a bit, "Tempermental little dragon-boy."
"Brat is more like," Rollan responded with a shrug. He glanced to the sky and then back to Karelym and Coryn with a grin, "Well then, it's almost nighttime. I'd better get going..I know how mates like their privacy when it's dark, right Cory?" Rollan grinned up at his brother playfully.

Coryn just rolled his eyes and then nuzzled Rollan playfully. "Yes. Now get going before it ends up being past your bedtime, squirt." he said teasingly. The closer it got to being nightfall, the better a mood he was in. Being among dragons that could shift their forms so easily only wanted him to be able to shift into the form he longed for even more.

Rollan smiled as he was nuzzled, patting Coryn's snout, "I'll be awake long into nightfall brother, you aren't the only one with special things to do at night." With a mischevious grin, he shifted to wolf and darted out quickly, stopping any questions that might follow his comment.
Karelym looked at him curiously, before chuckling as he ran. "He's up to something, my vyallah." She glanced up to Coryn, "If he's anything like you, I think we should be worried," she teased, "You being so wild at that age and all."
Rollan darted over bushes and around trees, heading for the Gypsy village near the western edge of the forest. It wasn't quite out of the forest, but it wasn't technically in it either. More like a large clearing really, surrounded by trees. That was where his..where Laura was. Rollan's wolfish lips became a smile at that thought.
Kolan meanwhile was sulking by the edge of a lake, brushing his hand along the surface as he gazed at his reflection. He hated his human form for what it was, but otherwise..before he'd had reason to hate it..he'd kind of liked it. Though he couldn't remember in vivid detail..glimpses of his mother ruffling his hair came to him..his father twirling him in his arms..he wished he had more than that to remember..anything..
But what he remembered clearly was the humans laughing at them, killing them and placing him in a special collar that prevented transformations without their permission, without a special stone unlocking it. They'd shifted him between forms for their own amusement, their own damned pleasure. One of the reasons he couldn't believe the Elder would do this to him now..

Laura had snuck out of her village, like she had so many times before and headed towards the forest, hoping to meet up with Rollan again. She held onto the skirt of her dress that was the common garb of gypsy girls. Her dress was a soft lilac purple, easy to move around in, and none too frilly. Her golden hoop earings glinted softly in the light of the setting sun, as she wandered through the trees. Her mind headed back to the night she had first met Rollan. He had been so shy, and so defencive, she was immediately curious as to what he was hiding. She still was, but now . . . she was willing to wait for him to put his trust in her and tell his little secret. It seemed only fair since she was hiding a rather important secret of her own from him. But I'll only tell him if he tells me first. she thought with a small giggle.
Coryn just shook his head with a small smile gracing his dragonish lips. "As long as he doesn't get into any trouble . . ." he said with a hint of a laugh in his voice.
