IBlameRoadSuess Nikolai paused his music and stared at Anya, with an expression of surprise, worry, and horror at the same time. He shook his head and said, "I think I'm insulted... How can you not like Pink Floyd!? They're one of the best bands in the history of everness! Whatever, fine I'll change it." Nik scrolled through his songs and picked another one. Nik turned the volume up just a bit and said, "It's still Pink Floyd, I don't care if you don't like it." Nikolai was insulted, no one had ever insulted his music before, and he didn't like it. He thought about not talking to Anya for a little while, but decided against it, it may have been a little too harsh to do that. Sighing, Nikolai said, rather lightly, "We should at least go see if our apartment is intact, I have all my essentials on me right now, but I don't think you have yours. Maybe we'll stop by a music shop on the way, and I can educate you in the ways of music." Nikolai smiled lightly and waited for Anya's reply, he was still a bit annoyed at her, but he didn't let that show. Nik's reaction to her statement about his taste in music gave away the way Nik felt much more than him trying to hide his feelings about it. Even if Nik did hide it, Anya could tell he was upset with her now. She said nothing when Nikolai suggested they stop in a music shop on the way to checking up on the status of their apartment. She honestly didn't care what they did now. As long as it didn't involve killing people, she honestly had no preference. She just wanted to live a normal life without having to worry about accidentally hurting other people.
She did have to go back to the apartment though, now that she thought about it. She hoped that her weapons stash hadn't been lost in the destruction. On their way back to check on their apartment, Nik and Anya passed by the place where Roulin and Cecilia had stopped to eat before leaving Exire. Though, Anya saw them, but did not approach them. Not after their encounter at the hospital anyway. She figured that the two of them didn't want to talk to her anyway after seeing their reaction at the end of the conversation at the hospital."Pssst! Hey! Hey, you! Nikolai! Ni-ko-la-iiiiii!" A cheerful yet urgent voice spoke up from Nikolai's shadow. If he stopped walking and looked down at his shadow, he wouldl see the face of Syd (only smiling) peering up and waving at him from the shadow.

((TFP---Raven))
“Oh, but this is only the start of the destruction” Raven was curious as to what this guys ability actually was, either way, she did not want to risk being hit by any of the attacks he threw her way. He was quick, no doubt about that part. Her eyes tried to follow him as best she could, but when they settled on one image, another one appeared that little bit closer “How annoying” it was clear this fight was going to become very interesting.
When Moli fired two beams of light followed by an orb of some sort, Raven had to really think and act fast. The beams looked as though they could be stopped with a blast of her power, but that would leave the orb with a clear path. It was clear this kid was trying to get closer, and close range combat was not how Raven worked “Damn..” She had no more time left to think, so, she acted.
Diving to the left to avoid one of the beams, Raven fired a shockwave toward the orb of light. However, she had left herself vulnerable to the second beam. Another shockwave was not as effective as the first one, but it did hinder the force behind the beam to a certain degree. Raven let out a irritated gasp as the beam burnt part of her upper arm, a sacrifice she had anticipated. She forced herself to forget the pain and simply tapped her left foot on the floor, releasing a grounded shockwave that would act very much like an earthquake, she needed to hinder Moli’s amazing speed as quickly as possible.
((UNS---Daryle))
Daryle took his time looking over the menu before he pointed out random things to the waiter, who began to scribble furiously trying to keep up with Daryle. When Daryle had finished, the waiter went to walk away, but was soon stopped by Daryle calling out to him “And can I get a glass of fresh orange juice with that as well?” The waiter nodded looking rather troubled “Hehehe, I may have over ordered! Well, I have yet to eat today, so I am making up for it” He propped up his elbow on the table and leaned his head on his hand “So, what are your plans after the UNS? Or do you plan to stay with them forever?”

Roulin finally relinquished a smile to Cecilia. She had the traits of a "Heart." Honesty, will and instinct. He scoffed at the last question he'd asked after thinking of the second question more in depth. Although she answered it with a suicidal plan, she was honest in it. It also proved she would fight until the bitter end. A Herald was still a human on the inside. Showing them fear would be giving them your life as much as running would. Still wearing an assuring grin, Roulin stood up with his cup prepared to get himself a soda. Before he left though, he ventured, "Alright. Last question. When the four of us get an apartment, where do you want your room? Top floor or bottom floor? I'm getting a lower room to be closer to the exits." What was to be expected of a simple question? A congratulation of course. Cecilia was now to replace the old member of the Four Suits. He too was happy to have someone that can do damage on the team rather than someone that can heal everyone.
As he neared the serving station again, he looked up at a television that, at the bottom of the screen, read breaking news. The screen was halved. On the left was part of a city that was so torn to pieces, it was unrecognizable. Thanks to the many familiar structures that lay against the ground, anyone could tell it was New York. In the midst of this destruction were two people. One of them was shining. "Oh s**t...Moli, what are you doi--" The other person was a girl. Dark hair, fair tone and medium height. It was Raven, the shockwave. Apparently Moli was fighting to stop her. The newscopter was providing coverage now.
The screen to the right was none other than Exire, the fallen island. Roulin had forgotten that the island was invisible until it fell. This meant that a brand new piece of land had just appeared out in the Atlantic Ocean. To the humans, this was weird...apocalyptic even. If this was on the news that meant in no time government forces would be all over the place. When though was the question. This was not good for anyone of Owl kind. It was up to Moli now to prove to the states that not Owls were bad. Roulin dropped his tray and stood in before the television. He wasn't going to move until the fight was over until Exire was bombed.

Given from Raven's actions, it appeared that she worked more on instinct then actual thinking. If she did think, she must've lost her train of thought along the way. She stopped all but one of the beams with expertise. It went without saying that the leader of this terrorist group had fought many fights. Stopping attacks with her own at this point was second nature to her. This only meant that Moli would have to get in her face and fast. The one thing he told himself he wasn't going to do.
He smirked when his beam of light grazed her shoulder. Good. Any damage was still damage. He'd taken a bit of his own and now it was a weak spot. Bigger than her weak spot. Wasn't good. Raven had returned with her own attack. A ground shockwave that ate up the ground spitting it back out in two jagged halves. Speed at this point equaled reduced. He jumped over the breaking asphalt grabbing a lamppost shard along the way. He circulated his photokinetic abilities through it creating a sword of light or as Moli would call it, a Lightsaber. Right hand for close range offense, left hand for long range offense.
After sliding down a jagged piece of road, he found somewhat level ground. One outward horizontal slash sent out a six foot wide crescent of light aimed for Raven's abdomen. The second attack, which started with a strange flash, had Moli leaping into the air and twisting over. "Ittou Ryodan!" He spun, bringing his sword down across his shoulder, and released a vertical crescent of the same that was as tall as the previous scythe was long. It traveled at a diagonal trajectory unlike the first which travelled straight toward her. As glorious and glistening as both attacks were, neither were meant to hit her. They were meant only to get her into postion for a follow up attack.

Vincent listened to Daryle's order, he was ordering a lot. When he asked what was he doing after the UNS. The UNS? AFTER? He had never thought about it. Maybe he would stay with them, maybe he would work at Amara's school or maybe he'd go to college and live a normal life, not as an OWL but as a human being. "I've never really given that much thought" he said. "I don't really know....I've never thought about it" he said. "Maybe I'll go to college" he said shrugging.

Demios looked at him "Just because someone hurts you, does that give you the right to be judge jury and executioner to everyone?" He asked. He frowned "There are men, women, children, humans, and owls alike in the destruction caused by your group, many of them innocent people" he said. He then herd Nat and nodded "Don't worry I promise I wont kill him, if I wanted him dead he would be" He said. He moved over to Kojiro "Forces of energy and light heal this man return his might" He chanted slowly and calmly. Suddenly a bright light radiated from his hands and gave off a soothing warmth. He then held his hands over Kojiro trying to heal him. "The problem will be trying to fix his mental state, if your group was truely innocent then my hex wouldn't have had such an effect on him" He said.

Dwyte nodded to Nova as he was healed, thanking him as he jumped from the window off toc arry on with the mission. As for himself, he wished Mail would take him over, but it seemed that Mail was sleeping peacefully and he had no idea when the other personality would wake up. Pulling out his left sword into his right hand he left the building running through the large puddles. Panting slightly, he looked at all the destruction, the death, the slience, it almost made him sick. Almost. Of course he felt bad, he knew there were innocent people in the rubble now dead. But this would teach everyone else, everyone would now know to never mess with an OWL. Smiling he took a deep breathe ignoring some of the cries for help until he spotted Kojiro. Skidding to a stop, almost slipping into the puddles of water. Next he spotted Nat and he found himself in a deep frown at the stranger he saw above Kojiro. Tightening his grip on his sword he ran towards them. "Nat!" Dwyte called, his voice cracking a little, not used to actually yelling his voice a little hoarse from the call. Unlike Mail he was not a confident person, so he forced himself to put on a stern face. "Who is this?" He tried to demand, though his eyes gave out, at the small fear that he would have to fight the stranger. Especially if Mail wasn't going to wake up and fight for him. Swallowing dryly he looked sternly back at the three. Trying not to look worried for the passed out Kojiro on the floor.

Cecilia looked up at Roulin in surprise. Had she really done it? Had she succeeded in becoming the new member of The Four Suits? She beamed with excitement wanting to jump up and embrace him, but she held her composure. "I think I'll take the bottom floor," she said. "It'll be easier to escape outside if we're attacked or if there's a fire." After a few moments, she decided that she needed a soda to drink. She stood up with her cup and walked towards the serving station.
She could see Roulin looking up at the television screen. Upon closer inspection, she saw that the city on the television screen was New York. She gasped at the destruction. She could also make out two people. It was clear that they were both Owls. She shook her head in disbelief and stood beside Roulin looking up at the screen. "It's hard to believe that there are people in this world who would hurt the innocent. There were so many men, women, and children in that city who have done nothing wrong. Why should they have to suffer, while the guilty ones, the ones who destroy lives continue to roam free?"
It sickened Cecilia. Even though she did not know who the two on television were, she hoped that the female would be stopped. "Not only is she putting humans in danger, but she's also putting Owls in danger. Who knows how many Owls there were in that city undetected, and Owl children! It makes me sick to my stomach!" She clenched her fists in anger.

As Nik followed Anya down the street, back to the apartment, he hummed lightly, and tried not to think about the insult Anya had given him. He too, noticed Roulin and Cecilia had stopped to eat. He didn't feel like joining in a conversation with them so soon either, so he didn't question Anya on it. Nikolai thought he heard someone calling his name, then it got louder. He looked around trying to figure out who would know him here, he looked down for some reason, and saw a woman waving at him from inside his shadow. He blinked and crouched down, inspecting the shadow before he asked, "Yes, that's me. Who are you? And what are you doing in my shadow miss?" Nikolai wasn't someone who was easily surprised by things that shouldn't be happening, he figured she was most likely an Owl, with the power to manipulate shadows, like him. He tilted his head slightly as he was crouched down and said, "This is a odd way of talking to someone, hang on." Nikolai stood up and manipulated his shadow into the approximation of a human woman, and made it stand up. He smiled and said, lightly, "There, that's better. Now, what are you doing in my shadow, if you don't mind me asking?" He smiled lightly at this new 'person' and glanced over at Anya to see what she was doing, before turning back to his shadow.

((TFP---Raven..Edited))
“What are you thinking…” Raven did find the forms of Moli’s attacks rather amazing, they each sparkled like billions of condensed diamonds caught in the glow of the afternoon sun. Pretty or not, she needed to move out of their path and quick “This is dangerous, I can not afford being hit by either attack” Raven knew what she should do. She had done this particular move before, but only in practise against her team members. Putting it to use in an actual fight could prove fatal, if it she were to miscalculate the timing.
When Moli’s attack was undeniably close, and almost seemed that Raven was just going to stand there and take it, she directed her hands towards the ground with her palms open wide. Releasing a small shockwave powerful enough to propel her upwards into the air, Raven arched her back as she dived over Moli’s attacks. Before Landing, Raven aimed a small, more condensed shockwave, towards Moli. The blast would be slightly angled due to her current position, and if it would hit him, it would be around his left shoulder region. With a small thump, Raven landed in a crouched position on the other side of Moli's attack “…Nicely done..” She mentally told herself. She had always been rather flexible in her youth, but never thought that it would come in handy in that particular way. come in handy in that particular way.
((TFP---Nat))
“It’s the only way anyone will listen. How many more years must we all hide away? For a Owl, you are awfully blind as to what humans do to our kind. And trust me, I doubt there was any Owls in this city, it is a no o zone…or rather, was a no go zone” The young blond stated “Do you think we enjoy this? If you do then you no nothing about us at all! And if you must know, Kojiro is not a bad person! He hates killing more so then anyone on our team! He only wants to protect us and to help us with our goal! You are no more better then the human scum!” Nat covered his eyes fighting back the tears that would surly embarrass to Mime Owl. Although the guy was on a opposing team, he was still healing Kojiro “Doing that to someone…is low…”
Nat had manners, so he needed to say it quickly before the guy said something else that would course a change of heart “Thank you..” He glanced up as Dywte appeared and held out a hand “He…he is healing Kojiro…I will take Koji back to the roof top. Once I am gone…it is up to you what you want to do”
((UNS---Daryle))
“Hmm, perhaps now is a time to start thinking about these things, you are still young, so make use of the time you have” Daryle clapped his hands together when the young Owl mentioned attending college “Now that is a grand idea! Learning is very important!” He sighed and slipped of the subject and into a little day dream “Ah to be young again…” he stopped and pulled a confused look before laughing “I don’t even remember being young! Hahaha!” A waitress came over with Vincent’s order, following behind her was another 5 waiters…with Daryle’s order “Ohho! Foods up”

Demios finished healing Kojiro and nearly fell over. He forced himself up knowing he needed to get out of there. "You are all fools if you keep acting as you do I promise I will make you pay" He said. He turned to Nat "I know my actions have reprocussions and I never claim to be righteous but I refuse to kill hundreds for revenge, and hey genious if its a no go zone it meant there must have been people here they were after" He said. He looked at Kojiro "I admit I did more than I should to him, but it was obvious that I couldn't make him stop by rational means, I'm sad it came to that, but I wish you all could have seen and felt it" He said. He then turned back to Nat "You should leave" He said.

Moli's lips parted into a grin once Raven shot into the air dodging both his attacks. She was using her brain and her evasive tactics reflected that. He was enjoying himself combating the Fallen Phoenix's leader, but the fight soon had to end. The two attacks, whether or not she noticed, passed right through the massive pile behind her not giving it any damage at all. The two large crescents he sliced out were false and were only massless light scythes that couldn't harm even a fly. The Moli that hovered before her too didn't have a real form. Moli, using one of his new strategies, managed to "buffer" his attack into an afterimage before vanishing off to another nearby position. The flash of light that came before his second manuever was him escaping. Thanks to the blades and their size, Raven didn't catch him.
Once the minature shockwave struck the light copy of Moli in its shoulder, it exploded into millions of photons that gave off a flash that was visible to the others who were fighting in the area. He needed only a second of stun from Raven to place his aim now. To her left, he stood holding his hand is if it were a gun. Down on one knee, he took at Raven's right arm. "Hey!" He needed to disable her someway somehow. Maybe if he could take out an arm, he could take out half of her attacking force.
~~~
"Damn it all..." Roulin cursed beneath his breath. When Cecilia arrived by his side, half the restaurant flocked to the television. The fight and the aerial caputuring of Exire was starting to scare all of them. It didn't take them long to figure out who to blame. All eyes turned on them, but no one forced them out. Not yet. Hadn't it been for Cecilia's show of compassion, they might have tried to kill them then and there. If looks could kill, both he and Cecilia would be dead.
Roulin knew it would come to this at some point. Saying, "We were only trying to help" would make up for the fact that now, in a few days, the island would be raided and more than likely everyone on it would be interrogated or killed. Roulin looked over at Cecilia wondering if she could feel the same tension that was rising and rising. It was when Moli's flash of light on the screen that Roulin found the time to deliver a message directly into Cecilia's mind.
Lucien opened his mouth to reply to her when he felt a strange pressure. His eyes opened a little wide as he dropped his drink, the glass shattered onto the dreck as the liquid spilled against the surface. He sat up from his chair and ran to the railing. He leaned over looking over the shore at New York. "Smoke?" He said as he saw a massive amount of smoke rising from above New York's skyscrapers. "What? No....An Owl?" He asked as their ship got closer and closer to New York Lucien could feel a few very powerful familiar powers. "Moli.....Demios.......Raven?" He grunted as he gripped the metal railing tight. He snapped it off and threw it into the ocean. "It's all falling apart!" He said with a grunt. "Alright think........Alright got it." he said to himself. He looked over to Jeannie. "Looks like our cruise has taken a turn as well. Normally I would say 'stay here' but I'm not stupid enough to think that will do anything. We'll be dealing with immensely powerful Owls, keep you guard up, if you don't you'll probably be killed." He said as he leapt over the edge of the boat. He focused as he flourished a pair of black feathered wings. He knew he was still hurt from the fights before, but he was well enough to fight. His powers had returned in the few hours and his wounds were only bruises and small cuts. He flapped his powerful wings as he went ahead to catch up on the fight. He looked up, he could see helicopters hovering over the fight scene. "God the media......Always a nuisance." He said softly. He knew that the boat was close to the shore, Jeannie wouldn't be far behind him. "Raven.....Your usefulness has run its course. You're a terrorist now." He whispered as he flew over the fight. He could see the fight below Moli was glowing a bright color which brought back memories of Roulin and his visit to the future a few years ago.
The tension within the restaurant that one could cut it with a knife. Cecilia could feel the eyes of the people upon them. She knew that they blamed both Roulin and her for all that had happened. She sighed. You try to help a few people and it blows up right in your face, she thought bitterly. Cecilia did her best to ignore the murderous glares that both Roulin and she were receiving. Didn't these people understand that Roulin and she, along with Lucien and Sakura had tried to save their home and keep it from falling? She knew that this was beyond negotiations. These people were out for blood and they wanted Roulin and Cecilia's. Cecilia heard Roulin's telepathic message and allowed herself a slight nod in response.
