 "Okay, I'll be back in an hour or so. " She said as she walked over to the door and took out her key. As she closed it behind herself she caught a glimpse of him doing some stretches. Shirtless. She couldn't help but stare, eyes freely scanning his nude torso. It wasn't so much that she hadn't seen a shirtless human before. Dock workers, sailors and the like sometimes did that too. But the upper body of a martial artist was different. He looked like a statue glorifying the beauty of the optimum male form and she couldn't help but find herself captivated by it. She was at an angle where she could see some of his muscles front and back moving under his skin. It was interesting and though she understood that what she was doing and thinking was weird it didn't matter to her. After staring at him for far too long she finally closed and locked the door.
Instead of apologizing, she knew probably for the best if this time she said nothing and just left. Hopefully he hadn't noticed her ogling him. She recalled what he'd said earlier about what a human's imagination was capable of. Wild and rampant, huh... She thought to herself as she walked down to the inn's lobby. Probably would be. She spent a little time there doing what she'd told him she would be doing before she left the village altogether and headed back to the coast. She was out of sight but knew she'd be able to make it back in time to grab a quick nap before the day began. She took the chance to have a swim. Bending and twisting as she swam, she fully enjoyed the water and refreshed her body. She would happily stay there all night doing various underwater tricks which she couldn't do on land. But returned to the inn at around five in the morning anyway since she'd made a promise with Leon.
She grabbed a pillow from the bed as she passed by as quietly as she could. The bathroom had only one small window, which she preferred since it would be easier to keep the room dark. After pulling the curtains shut she brushed her teeth and then showered, so she wouldn't smell like the sea. Finally, she curled up naked in the tub for a quick nap and cuddled the pillow.
She woke up around an hour later. Even with the curtains closed the sunlight still bothered her enough to make sleeping during the day difficult. She yawned as she went over to open the door. Fortunately, she remembered that she was splitting the room with someone else. So she hastily pulled her dress on over her head before opening the door. "Ahr oou awyake?" She asked sleepily while yawning again, opening her mouth pretty widely without a care for decorum.

"Oh! Good morning! I didn't think you'd be awake so early. Kinda changes my plans."
Leon was indeed awake. But instead of being in his normal clothes, Leon was wearing his Dobak, and belt. He wore no undershirt, so his stomach was exposed. It was obvious that he had been out training at some point. Most likely when she was sleeping. His body had a slight shine to it from the sweat.
"I tend to start the day a bit early, and get my training routine in. Just got back, actually."
Upon a closer look, while Leon's hands looked fine, his feet were scratched, and a tad bloody, though it was obvious he had cleaned the wounds a bit. He untied the headband from his head, and smiled at her.
"Sorry if I was a bit loud coming in." |

"Yeah, sorry about that. My feet got a little cut up by the dead grass and weeds where I was training, but shoes aren't allowed to be worn in a Dobak, and that place was perfect."
Leon fetched himself a towel, drying the sweat off a bit. He wasn't really well versed in manners when it came to women, so he just assumed afterward that it was ok to take of the upper body part of the Dobak, and get ready for a shower.
He walked into the bothroom, and started the water. After washing himself off, and washing his hair, he came out of the bothroom in his normal clothes, minus the gloves and jacket.
"So! Where am I taking this beautiful girl on a date today?" |

Callisto very quickly stripped and showered, only rinsing her hair since it had only been a few hours since the last time she'd washed it. She was used to getting ready in a hurry. When getting ready to meet the other men she'd dated in the past, all of them mermen either from her tribe or a nearby one, she'd procrastinated to the last minute. Part of it was not wanting to meet them since meeting them would mean she would never get to explore the world. Another reason was simply how easily distracted she was. The only benefit was that she was able to pretty herself up very quickly when she needed to. She dried the areas of herself that would be visible, not so much concerned about her scalp or stomach. She applied a little scented oil to her fingertips. Then skillfully weaved her long wavy hair into a complex braid, draping it over one shoulder to look more feminine. The oil was essentially a light perfume, which she'd 'found' in someone's bathroom.
She also used a little 'found' makeup to touch up her face. Only a small amount of eyeshadow to compliment her long light grey colored eyelashes and a little nearly black red to accentuate her lips. A final touch was adding a bit of the same scented oil she'd applied to her hair onto her neck and wrists. It would soak into the skin and linger for a while. It was a light and pleasant fragrance which wasn't overwhelming. It couldn't be, she'd make herself sick if she used anything stronger than this. Her efforts back home would've been a bit more involved than this but she had yet to fully learn all that much about surface world beauty. She slipped into her other 'found' dress, laced up her cloth boots, grabbed her cloak, gloves and sunglasses. Then hurried down the door, only a few minutes earlier than she said she'd be.
She was putting her arms through the sleeves of her cloak as she walked down the stairs. The moment she caught sight of Leon's back she grinned and ran the rest of the way. "Leon!" She called cheerfully as she ran up to him and grabbed hold of his arm. She very nearly hugged him, but was wary of knocking him over since she'd been able to drag him around so easily yesterday night. "You ready? Let's go!" She was so excited that she failed to notice she was already trying to pull him towards the door. Unlike yesterday, she didn't seem to care about what any onlookers might think. Probably because he said he didn't mind.

Leon was surprised, but laughed when Callisto tugged at his arm. She seemed...eager, and excited. He was overjoyed that she readied herself, and it felt like she wanted this to go well, just as he did. She looked beautiful.
"Whoa, Callisto, slow down! We have the whole day!"
It had been a long time since Leon felt an aspect of fun. Training was one thing, since it was something he dedicated his life to. But fun, was foreign. There was no real way to do that where he lived. Especially considering his family history. But this, was like he had a second shot. A way to make someone happy, and to be happy again himself. |

As Leon walked with Callisto back to the inn for the night, his heart was racing. Once they returned to the room, things would get crazy, and fast. But, he was excited.
He stopped by the desk, and without even asking Callisto, dropped the money for another night. He smiled at her as they left the desk.
"This one's on me."
They entered the room again, and Leon did something a little out of character, and a bit cliche. He set his things down, then lightly cornered Callisto against the wall, holding her chin in one hand.
"Now...where were we?" |

As they walked Callisto had time to calm down and think. Her love drunk intoxication had faded and as they reached the inn she'd instead started to feel anxious. She recalled again being warned to be cautious and being teased by her friends and younger sister that she would end up coming back home with child. The likelihood that she'd find a mate on the surface who could withatand the tremendous water pressure of her homeland was incredibly low. So, naturally if she got carried away and wasn't careful about who she trusted the ending would be a poor one. She wasn't sure if it were even possible to produce a child between human and mermaid but she trusted that there were ways to avoid it. Since he'd mentioned precautions to her before. Her concern was more about what would happen to both of them afterwards.
She liked Leon. She trusted and cared about him but she wasn't sure that she should let herself give into her desire to have sex with him right now. Was she too eager? Would he stop liking her afterwards? Was there a taboo among humans about two people meeting and going to bed in a day's time? She had no idea. She didn't think he would change his mind about dating her but couldn't say for sure. Would he think that by wanting to keep being close with him she was trying to limit his freedom? As he paid for the room she stared at the money he'd left behind. She noted that he'd paid for pretty much everything today. Their room was shared so why was he paying for it? Was she supposed to leave afterwards or something?
She was starting to take her cloak off when he cornered her against a wall and made her look up at him. Her gaze softened and she bit her lower lip again. Looking at him, being so close and knowing what they'd talked about doing made her desire for him return. She decided, as earlier with his ability, that it would be fine to simply wait and deal with her worries later. She placed her hands upon his chest and grabbed fistfulls of his shirt, meaning to rip it off. Callisto then lifted herself up to be able to softly kiss his lips. A lustful sigh escaped her lips as the kiss ended. She longed for him and hoped he felt the same. There was just one thing that was bothering her. She looked up at him, her chest pressed against his and her hands holding onto him tightly. She wasn't leaning her weight against him but as she spoke she really wanted to press herself against him.
Her breathing was already a bit faster than normal as she began to mentally anticipate the nights events. Her sense of smell was naturally more sensitive than that of a human's but being so close his natural odor was intoxicating. Sweat, pheromones and a light fragrance of the ocean. She wondered why she found that something so natural and simple about him such as his scent could seem so damned attractive to her right now. She could feel his heart hammering away against her chest and found it comforting as if he were just as nervous and excited about what they were about to do as she was. "Leon..." She closed the distance again, this time lightly biting his lower lip as she ended the kiss. She closed her eyes and told herself to never forget how he felt right now, or the sound of his breathing. "Have you done this before?"
Her gaze flicked away from his lips to meet his eyes. she looked from his right to his left, searching for his answer. Her hands were pushing the material if his shirt up a bit, speaking of her desire to rip off his clothing. She was having trouble focusing or even remembering why she thought such a question was important to ask in the first place. She was a bit distracted by the color of and patterns within his vibrant irises. But she needed to know his answer before she'd let herself fully give in to lust with him. "You seem like you have..."

Callisto couldn't help the grin on her face. She was so thrilled to hear that, since this would be a first for both of them. She didn't want to share him with anyone else, so that was important to her. But she would've overlooked it anyway if he had, since she didn't believe it would change the way she felt about him right now. She followed his motion, touching and kissing him as they moved to the bed. She muttered small, almost meaningless things which were lost in the heat of the moment. As he stated he was ready, she grinned again. She happily threw off her dress and ripped off his clothing with ease.
Later on...
She woke up groggily and realized that she was on the floor with Leon. The two were tangled up in the sheets which had at some point been pulled off of the bed. The art which had been hanging on the walls had fallen to the floor. For some reason there was a hole in the wall. Surprisingly, even the curtains were in disarray, though she couldn't recall just how they'd managed that. Sunlight was streaming in, the brightness of the sun was probably what woke her up. She glanced around for the clock and saw that it to wasn't in its proper place. But at least she could see the time and knew it was around ten o'clock. She groaned, knowing that she needed to get up and start working. She should've been up earlier and she'd have to make up for lost time.
Honestly, she didn't want to go anywhere. She'd much rather spent the rest of the morning with her human boyfriend. But he probably had places he needed to go to today too. She squirmed until she freed one of her hands from the sheets and pat his shoulder lightly. She opened her mouth to speak his name but ended up yawning. As she was slowly waking up, she could feel that her body was sore all over. She smiled a bit, amused by the thought that she probably wasn't the only one feeling the result of their night together. Or at least that's what she hoped. "Leeaaahhwn..." She started to say his name but it had turned into a long, drawn out yawn. She lay her head down next to his, looking at him to see if he'd woken up yet. If he didn't wake up, she told herself to use that as an excuse to stay cuddled up with him a bit longer.
