[RAID] A Legendary Heist

"Good eye." Tambrey told Zacharie and, was about ready to hiss the command herself as the illusion fell apart right before them.
"Okay. Samples, pony, and/or the ball. Let's go!" She addressed Lu and Zacharie
as she sprung forward, releasing Treestar, Lasi and Gauntlet into the fenced off space.
Her eyes were on the Keldeo.

The command came and Rory briefly called out, "Let's go," to Xander as he let Jace and Koschei out of their pokeballs as he moved through the crowd towards the legendary and the rest of the team.

Lu felt the colour drain from his face but only hesitated for a moment, releasing Tea and Minty only seconds after Tambrey had released her own pokemon. "O-okay, this is happening, yeah, we can do this-" he muttered to himself under his breath.

Xander nodded then called out Conrad, Angel and Eclipse as he followed Rory.

Jumping at the sudden burst of noise and action, Zacharie reached down and plucked three pokeballs off of his belt.

Pop, pop, pop!

Irina, Essex, and Chiro all hovered in front of him looking mildly disoriented. "Essex, Irina, I need you both to go try to get the pokeball from that Ranger." He pointed across the way towards Ranger A, "It's important that she doesn't see you, work quickly." With faint noises of understanding, the ghost pokemon disappeared from sight. "Chiro, try to slow the Keldeo down, use Scary Face...but make sure to keep out of its way." The Pumpkaboo gave a put upon sigh but left to do as told, circling around to use his attack behind the legendary.

Essex sang quietly, hovering not too far in front of Ranger A before using Confuse Ray as Irina reached for the pokeball from behind.

Riley gasped in surprise as Aulus made his way forward, calling out his pokemon. Steeling herself, she released Molly onto the ground beside her, looking down to the leafeon with a sharp nod.

"See if you can calm it down, Molly," she asked her, nodding toward the legendary. Grass type... not so much an advantage, given the legendary status, but at least it was something to be hopeful in.

Molly nodded at her girl, then shook her head to herself, before bounding in toward the Keldeo, careful to give it room, but beginning the humming of her Grass Whistle.

The ranger gestured in a sweeping motion with her arm, "Get back! Get--" She was distracted from giving her evacuation orders by the sight of Aulus rapidly bearing down on her. Mildly stunned, she reacted on reflex to raise her arms defensively, staggering with the sudden dizziness the Confuse Ray inflicted, her hands well away from the pokeball she had earlier reached for.

The Keldeo, disliking the number of pokemon appearing around it, leapt forward, using the water jets in its hooves to propel itself away from the area and taking up a place upon the uppermost spout of the Articuno fountain, well out of the range of the Grass Whistle. Its displeasure, clear enough in its expression and body language, manifested in the form of a great, swordlike light extending from its horn.

The civilians gathered around immediately rethought all their life choices as the illusion fell, revealing an angry Keldeo and two other pokemon. Most of them, scarcely needing to be told to do so, immediately vacated the area, save for a few - civilian A took a step back, looking horrified as she laid a hand over the pokeball at her waist and remained near civilian B. Noel and Lily, wearing surprised expressions, took a few cautious steps back, but remained nearby. Rangers B and C immediately took up defensive positions near the fountain, each reaching to pokeballs on their belts.

"Lasi, try and get a Leech Life going! Treestar, Magical Leaf! Gauntlet," Ah, Gauntlet... Electric. Well, needs must. "Thunder Wave!"
Tambrey called her orders, directing her pokémon to take on the Legendary, hoping to make it... just a little more co-operative, maybe.

Well, it was crunch time it seemed, and the two in front of him didn't seem to be making any motion with any ball. He suspected that it might have either to do with the fact that they didn't have a ball, or this just wasn't the pokemon that they were looking for.

Aither way, he felt like he needed to do something other then stand here and watch these women.

Kyle's hands plucked the pokeballs from his belt, and tossed them into the air toward the fray.
Both Varian and Cybil were deposited into the battle field with their comrades, while Kyle then made his second move.

(Noel, Lily)
An arm shot out to grab onto Noel's upper arm, the one that had the bag on it, Jerking her around sharply as he allowed the balance she provided to bring a leg up to try and kick Lily into her Audino while his other fist was brought around to drive it into Noel's stomach to try and knock the wind out of her.

Frills flaring a bright angry red, Rui cried out and stepped in with his trainer, ready for battle.

Molly skidded to a halt as her target leapt up and away from her range, looking to the fountain as it alighted close to the top.

Skittles! Riley shook her head and turned again to the leafeon, directing her forward again. "See if you can hit it with Razor leaf! But be careful!"

Command given, she looked to see if Aulus needed help, heading his direction toward Ranger A. When it appeared she was no longer needed, however, she stopped, scanning the grounds for a job to do.

Damn! "Get that pokeball! And any others she has!" Aulus snapped, assuming that somebody or some pokemon would heed him.

"Tort, Char, Dis, Paul; after the Keldeo and deal wit the Rangers I want blood!"

Tortie wasted no time; snarling viciously she turned and charged towards the fountain, drawing in power and launching a Thunderbolt at the legendary pokemon.

Char meanwhile focused on Rangers B and C, trying to trap them with a Fire Spin.

Discord, cackling manically, raced after Tortie and once he was in range he tried to draw life force out of Keldeo with Giga Drain.

Paul, who had been clinging onto Discord, followed up the assault on Keldeo with a Disable attack.

Aulus meanwhile hit Ranger A really hard in the face for good measure. "Sorry sweetheart, nothing personal."

Seeing the Ranger's hand falling away, Irina immediately reached out and snatched the pokeball off of her belt only to pause at Aulus' shouting. That hadn't been what Zacharie had said but....

YOINK!

She snatched up the rest of them anyways.

She chirped before she and Essex made a hasty retreat back to their trainer before they got caught up in anything. Essex cheered happily as they suddenly reappeared in front of Zacharie. "Good job you two." The teen smiled widely, incredibly proud that his pokemon had been successful. He took the pokeballs from the Drifloon and attached them to his own belt as his eyes scanned for an Agent that wasn't too horribly busy, preferably Tambrey since she had been the one that told him to try to retrieve the ball. "Irina, go help Chiro. Use Gust and then do whatever you need to but be careful! Essex come with me." With that, he sprinted after Tambrey.

"Tea, use Double Team, get past the Rangers, please!" Lu said quickly, Tea responded immediately, using her move and dashing towards Ranger B and C. "Minty, stay back for now!"

"Jace, Koschei, help the others with the freaking unicorn," Rory commanded as he reached for a third pokeball at his belt as his gaze landed on the woman Zacharie had been talking with earlier.

A quick flash of light had Thor upon his shoulder, "Thor, run over and snatch the pokeball off of the lady over there," he pointed in the direction of Civilian A. "As quickly as you can, alright?" The Pichu chirped as he raced down off of his trainer's shoulders.

Meanwhile Jace aimed a Metal Claw at the wild Legendary as Koschei followed after him, using Quick Attack.
