Rewatching the old Pokemon episodes from Ash in the Kanto region and stuff but when you're 10 years older, it really makes you see just how much the show had to be censored for American kids.

I went to a Japanese market today for a friend's birthday! biggrin There was also a celebration there, and we got to eat a lot of stuff! I found a spicy popcorn, my friend tried rice balls, and I bought different ramen flavors for my family, along with a cool figure for myself.

I am a ******** iron fortress. I'll stand no matter what. You can punch me, kick me, claw at me, even leave dents. But those dents can be worked back out carefully and slowly so it doesn't hurt. It'll take time that way, but it can happen and it always does. I'm not made of thin metal, I'm made of thickass several-foot-thick metal. And if you think I'm going to fall down because of you, you're an idiot. And if my walls to fall, I have the comfort of friends and family to help rebuild them with me. They're never down for long, and never will be. Sometimes, nearly the entire fortress can be wrecked, turned to shambles and dented. Those times are the hardest, and most desperate. But it's ok because the same people will help me time and time again to rebuild it, every last nut and bolt and rivet. They love me, and therefore, this iron fortress was forged of love and care and willpower. I am founded upon these traits, and I am proud of it. This fortress will always stand in some way because it's never on its own. It has those around it to support the walls, help defend it.
I am a ******** iron fortress.

I'm doing my first, long-length roleplay as Angus McFife XIII, and it's really fun! The premise is that goblins destroyed the thought-to-be-invincible Gloryhammer, and Angus has brought it to the best blacksmith around to hopefully get it repaired. Since it's a sort of heirloom through 13 generations, it can never be abandoned as long as he lives.
The beginning was really funny, too! Angus ran into the scene saying he was invading the place, and in mid-sentence he fell down for legit no reason. I headcanon that he's an absolute clutz and is clumsy as hell.
