"Like you've never done anything stupid before. I once went on a hunt and got kicked in the rear by a deer I thought was dead. I was limping for the rest of the day." Anja smiled at all of the memories in her mind "Another time..." she got real sincere and calm, "One night, with a full moon.... me and a few others of my pack were lounging next to a lake. The moon looked so big that night. And its reflection seemed much bigger. Each one of us were looking up, seeing all of the stars and the light of the full moon. And one by one we all started to howl. In joy, in love, in happiness, in sadness, in peace." she closed her eyes, took a deep breath and smiled as she pictured it very clearly. "Afterwards we all jumped into the shallows of the lake and had a great deal of fun. The hunting party came back and we had a massive feast." she opened her eyes and looked at him, a single tear leaked from her eye. She wiped it away quickly and turned away from him, "I want to hear your story now."

Prince Tousa of Darinest Tousa pulled his reins to lead his horse away from the feeding grass. He let his horse walk past hers and as he did he glanced over his shoulder at her. "Depends on the type of story you want. Do you want something personal or a Court Play? I have both in spades." He then just continued walking by. "Though I suppose since you shared a personal story you want one of my own to call it even. You found it interesting I was taught how to act like a woman when need be so let us go with a story from then. Let's add my sister in as well for good measure." Tousa shifted in his saddle. "I was first introduced to the idea of deception through my sister actually. I've always had long hair, and she would often brush it for me. We were not that far apart in age. Of course, my father did not know that I allowed my sister to play with my hair, and when he found out he scolded me at first for delving into acts of feminine nature." He covered his mouth as he let out a small laugh. "Then in frustration he told me that if I wanted to be a woman he would have someone teach me how to be one. My sister was happy to have me follow along in her lessons. After a year of it I told my father what I told you and he had no words for me other than shock. Poor man runs a kingdom with an iron fist and he can't even handle his own son's antics."

Anja just smiled as he spoke. She was surprised that he didn't comment on her stories at all, "Well it must be hard for him, having a son who is gay." she teased at him and sped up just a hair

Prince Tousa of Darinest Tousa just gave a deadpan look at Anja. "If I was do you think I wouldn't know that already?" He shook his head. "I know my sexuality just fine and it is not of the same gender." he sped his own horse up to follow after her so they kept even. "I just think most romantic contact should wait until after marriage. It is an expression of loyalty to the unknown person who will take my side. Whether they have the same view is entirely up to them, but I am not going to let myself fall prey to fleeting desires that will not last. Unlike some people, I am no beast." He looked pointedly at Anja with that remark.

Anja looked over at him, "Why are you giving me that look when you said that?" she rolled her eyes, "Just because we throw most modesty out the window does not mean we mate all the time. We do have a sense of dignity, loyalty, intimacy with our chosen mates, and unity." "I do know a few who go out into the human world and, go crazy. But most of the time, there is a mating ritual first before the actual mating. And you know, wolves mate for life." Anja said matter of factly, "Unlike your kind who spilt up all the time and cheat on the other."

Prince Tousa of Darinest "There are also more of us then you, comparing an anthill to that of a bird's nest just doesn't work." Tousa stated back simply. "A marriage is a ritual as well if you consider it." He then gave another shrug. "I don't know what look you are talking about. I look how I always look thank you very much." Tousa looked off to the side of the road now as they traveled. They had been enveloped by the wilds again, more forest having surrounded them rather than fields. The dirt road having heavy ruts from wagon tracks. "We're in the wild now it seems, I doubt anyone will be able to see you. I will take your reins if you want to run free. Just don't go to far off."

"Maybe thats why we don't have the numbers. We don't create bastards like your kind. We don't have brothels and bars with prostitutes who get knocked up. We don't sell our own into slavery, or others into it either." she stood on top of the horse, gave him the reins and jumped up onto a branch. Anja jumped from tree to tree, with quick precision. She was agile and was able to keep up easily. There was a break in the trees but it wouldn't stop her. She ran and jumped and reached for the other branch 8 feet away. She made it and swung around and landed on the ground on her two feet. [She moves like the Navi from Avatar. Just to give a reference.]

Prince Tousa of Darinest Tousa gave a shrug. "I did not say there were no advantages to how humans are flawed people. It seems your perfect race has its downsides for its perfection hmm?" He took the reins in one hand and began to lead her horse along, only glancing up at her as she moved. "Careful up there, don't need you falling on your head and breaking your neck." He called out to her as she took a daring leap for a particularly long gap. His gaze focused from her to their environment, watching for any suspicious movement he might be able to spot. Bandits made their homes in forests and along such roads after all. Anja had proven that point well enough.

Anja looked back and shrugged, "I'll be fine. We won't get mugged out here. I would be able to smell them." she kept going, only to stop and look down to the side. She went down and sniffed it, "Deer blood." she got up and ignored it. She didn't smell anything else. She transformed and ran ahead.

Prince Tousa of Darinest "Just because you can do that does not mean I should grow complacent Anja." Seemed she was ignoring him for the most part and just doing her own thing. He sighed and watched her take off. "Do not go to far Anja!" Once she was further ahead he just placed a hand on his face and leaned back before it limply dragged down. "It's like watching after a child that cannot calm down." He then paused and chuckled. "She's a puppy... That's exactly what she is."

Anja ran and jumped and had a great time. At the same moments, she was keeping an eye on things. She didn't smell any of her kind at all. In fact, she couldn't smell anything fresh on this trail. Just goes to show you how good a route this was. She was tempted to hunt for the heck of it but she didn't. Anja made sure she could still see Tousa, or at least, smell him. She put her nose to the ground and sniffed away. Maybe there was something to find in these trees. She found something and started to dig carefully. At the end of her excursions she pulled up some carrots.

Prince Tousa of Darinest Tousa just kept his calm as best as possible... He then perked up with an idea, a grin forming on his face as he brought his hands to his lips and putting two fingers into his mouth. After taking a deep breath he let out a shrill whistle that made the horses ears perk up and snort, causing the one he was leading to prance a bit in excitement at the prospect of running. When people whistled it meant they were supposed to go to the source of the whistle after all... Or run away from it. Meanwhile Tousa just kept his eyes on his surroundings now, a smile on his face as he lead the horses off the road and into the first line of trees, watching at the opposite side of the road to see if Anja would burst out of the woodwork in a hurry.

Anja's ears perked up at the sound of that whistle. She saw the horses galloping off, and that was just fine with her. She held the vegetables in her mouth and ran towards the horses. She caught up with them easily enough. She threw the carrots at him and ran ahead. If felt great stretching her legs.

Prince Tousa of Darinest Tousa just stumbled to catch the carrots as she took off again. That was not what he was expecting at all. With a sigh and after he had collected the carrots he led the horses back onto the road and continued to trot along. A few hours passed and as the evening sunk into the sky, Tousa let out another whistle for Anja, this time without the fingers to help accentuate the note and instead waited for her to come around. They needed to start thinking of camp soon.

Anja was tired by the time she heard the whistle. Listening to it made her feel like a dog. She wasn't a dog. She went to find him and found him near a clearing. She stopped and stretched, not wanting to be human again right now. She did growl at him for the calling. TO make it more funny, she went over and licked his face, making sure it was extra slobbery
