The Naumend Motel

Alone on her side, Paper checked her leg and found she could still stand. She was bleeding but it wasn't heavy enough to warrant her attentions at this time.

Re-loading her crossbow she backed away, closer to the rooms on her side and brought around her bow, deciding to go for a distance-attack.

Black still breathing hard but ready to continue decided somthing a little dicey. He charged to the center of the Ten'acle hoping this would work, seeing th interior of where the tentacles sprange black brought out his sword with his halberd and striking the blades together he sent a wave of burning darkness to the very roots of tentacles. While trying to retreat his was hit by the creatures flailing of pain and ended up about 10 yards form where he had started his charge. On the plus side he had only vcut his lip and he had both wepons still just a very swore body. He sheathed his sword and waited to see hsi attack go through.

As Paper was about to shoot she watched Black fly towards the monster and release a wash of darkness into it. He was flung far by one of it's tentacles and Paper screamed out his name, hoping he wasn't killed, "BLAAAACK!!"

She took two arrows at once and released them into the ten'acles main body. She was crying, for Black and kept up a steady barage of arrows through the tears, after 8 shots, 4 had hit the main body, 2 into seperate tentacles and 2 didn't take.
She turned her attention to Black and saw him move. He was alive and didn't seem terribly hurt. She breathed a sigh of relief and smiled before a tentacle swept across and threw her deeper into the parkinglot, slamming her down.

The air left her chest and as her body absorbed the shock she tried to get up and away.

Watching Black being thrown Praline wasted no time, "Jonen! You and me! NOW!"

And she ran in closer to the beast, swinging wildly into the air, slashing tentacles and trying to get closer to the body.

Surprised by Black's display and then watching him get hit, Jonen considered running to his side. But Praline had other plans and ordered him beside her.

She ran in and he obediently followed Praline, and assumed similar actions, striking whatever part of the monster came his way.

Jonen throw me the daggers I think I know a way to kil it, but im going to need a favor afterwards. Said black as he jumped over the beast just barley hitting the top distract it and landing by Paper, as to help her up.

In a single, swift movment, Jonen swept the daggers from where he kept them and threw them to Black. Then he immediately went back to swinging at the remaining tentacles with Praline.

stabbing himself with e knives black summoned a shadowy figure from the blood on hsi daggers. It look like a ferocious dragon and made a hole through the center of Ten'acle cutting off the tentacles with it. And then black passed out.

Paper rushed to Black's side and held his limp body in her arms.
She put her hand to his chest and could still feel a strong heartbeat and soft breathing.

As the ten'acle died Praline ran to grab Jonen as she rushed over to Black and Paper.

"Is he okay?" she asked, fearing what the answer might be.

"He's fine I think. His heart is steady and he's breathing okay. I think that just took alot out of him," Paper said as she stroked his hair.
