the wyvern riders and angels started flying toward Aria. Chastity closed her eyes her mind directly linking to thiers, they passed through Aria seeing everything (except the forbiden stuff because it disapeared as they approached)

and phased out along with the rest of the army leaving a floating heart where she was before and a note with Mary.

"If you do find him, tell Mary. She will know where I am. Good luck... for all of us."

Kuro flew behind and picked up the note. "Bwooh." He gestured for Mary to follow and flew back into the hangar.

The Starunes concentrated on the desta aura and began using all known physic, technological and magical forensics on the paper to discern which desta last handled it.

Blin looks out the window at Travens question. "you know what? Im not really sure."

Desta looked out of the window and saw the army disappearing. "Aria Status report, who were they..." Damages sustained but have been repaired. Brett has taken care of the intruders and has found that they are looking for Milosh who is in possesion of Hasmat's Body.
Hmmm... she thought. "Begin Byako wide scans for masses of undead, skip the necropolis... Start in the less lively areas of Byako."

Another set of Starunes began researching on the database what could want to destroy all the clan leaders and frame Desta in the process. A third set began to check when the note had been written.  

[Faulty Ambition]

The searches for which Desta handled the note ended up saying that "Desta" had been the only "Desta" to handle the note. There was also the implicit feeling of "duh!" and a facepalm coming from that result.

The second search, the one on who had motive/probable cause came up with nothing. True, there were an awful large number of hits, but nothing that fit both specifications of wanting to destroy the clans and wanting to frame Desta for something.

The third check revealed that the note had been written "on the palm of Desta's Hand."

Having exausted all other alternatives the Starunes gave the paper sentience, sat it on a chair in a small dark room and shined a light in its face. "Talk! we know your hiding something!" A second Starune stood oposite of him. "You should probaly answer my partners question. He is not the the type who likes to stall."

After a bit of stumbling about and getting lost, he found Bay 3, sighing with relief. A little bit later and he was finally off, heading for Mecha Main to get his arm repaired.

"Is there something on the chair? I'm terribly sorry."
The piece of paper mumbled as it stood up so that it was no longer concealing any of the chair.
"Is that better?"
From the sound of it, this was one nervous paper.

Starune A pulls out a lighter, sets it off and holds it close to the paper. "You will answer our questions."  

[Faulty Ambition]

"You haven't asked any!"
The paper began to panic.

"What sort of plot are you involved in? What do you know?" The starune glares at the paper

"I'm just a piece of paper! I don't know anything!"
The paper began to sob.
These starunes were really awful mean.
