Island Resort ~The RP~

[Sou Jara]

On the island the shaking had grown worse however the effect was not noticable in the ship. In the middle of the resort, a hole opened up in the ground, swallowing a bungalow and the surrounding ground.

Even as far down as they were, he could feel the mighty tremors that shook the island periodically.

"What in heaven's going on around here?"  

[xXBeginnerXx]

"Do Islands have basments?"

Ending asked randomly as she poked at the damaged panel, burning her hand fr the effort.

"Owwies!"  

[Xx_Raziel-Phoenix_xX]

He approached the panel, examining it carefully.

"Without a technician, we won't be able to fix this ourselves."

Looking at the elevator door, Ending slipped her fingers into the seam, planted her feet on either side of it and pulled. With no success.

"Im not good with this stuff!"

Ending complained, pulling out a stick of dynamite.

He waved away Ending's dynamite, deciding to try something himself. He stood before the doors of the elevator, his hand gripping the hilt of his sword. With a deep, calming breath, he slid the sword slightly out of it's sheath and then slid it back in again.

A moment later, the doors fell forward, sliced neatly into four separate pieces.

"If you climb on my back again, I can float us down the elevator shaft and we can continue our investigation."

Bobbing her head up and down, Ending lowered her weight to that of a feather and jumped onto Raziels back.

"Down down and away!"  

[Sou Jara]

Twenty feet down, they landed on the elevator which was presumably stuck on the next floor down.

He looked around a moment, trying to discern a way into the elevator and thus gain access to the floor below.

Holding out her hand, a firecracker appeared with a pop. Lighting it, Ending threw it down onto the elevator roof, blowing it open.

"Onwards!"

The inside of the elevator was bare save for a metal beam that lay along the floor of it, leading out of the elevator and keeping the door ajar.
Outside of the room was a lobby area similar to the floor above however instead of a series of interconnecting hallways there was a single doorway marked 'Laboratory'

He approached the door quietly, understanding all too well the foolishness of simply barging in.

"I wonder what a laboratory is doing so far under the island."

The door opened on its own revealing rows of large glass cylinders containing a wide variety of strange creatures. Before each cylinder was a small terminal and beyond them lay an area that was presumably used for experimentation.

He stepped through the doors carefully, observing the cylinders with a keen eye. The news of an abandoned laboratory beneath the resort might be of extreme interest to Miss Lutia. He took a few moments to read some of the information on the terminals, but most were written heavily with scientific jargon that he didn't understand. Best to let Record handle that.

Next to the door that Raziel entered from their was a three dimensional map. If Raziel was able to read the dimensions, he would discover that the ship was nearly in proportion to the entire island itself.

On one of the experimentation tables lay a notebook of some sort.
