I've been hearing from other forums on the cancellation. From Wikipedia:

I think it was 11 episodes, but they were only like, 45 mins long.

Anyway, I'm kinda devastated that they aren't making a sequel, but I don't mind too much. I think the cuteness and novelty of the story if we had a whole other 15 episodes of misunderstandings to watch..
