Playing the new minecraft prerelease (It will never be finished.)
Hanging out in some of the new jungles, taming cats and babysitting some NPC villagers. Zombies bust down the doors to their houses now and try to eat them problem is, the NPC villagers can't replcae the doors by themselves, so it's only a matter of time before the zombies have broken every door, and they simply eat all the villagers.
They're semi-protected, when in large numbers, by their ability to generate the new iron golems, which can 1-2 hit kill just anything or anyone. But still these guardians don't activate until a villager is attacked, and by then the door is broken. So it's kinda useless so far. I expect more updates relating to that before the official 1.2 release.
Also I just explored a stronghold broken apart by caves and a ravine, being chased by ... by, well, yos guys probably know it as the ifi. It was like exploring the mines of Moria, like in the scene where they're crossing the dark black void, being chased by ... by, well, yous guys probably know it as the giant fire monster.

Had to throw together a super-short story for Intro to Shakespeare, based on Sonnet 153. The basic idea was to provide a context for the sonnet. This is bad, but I'm unsurprisingly satisfied Here we find Bernard Keahon, a young scholar, empowered by his “sweet” part time job. Bernard knows no unmet needs, only wants. His parents are happy to pay for everything that the scholarship doesn't. Bernie has everything he needs, but none of what he truly desires. With money burning a hole in his pocket, it is here, in the dank, hidden parts of the city that we see him blowing his load. His meager earnings buy a lot of cheap booze and more cheap friends than he'd ever need. The drinking helps numb the mind a little: enough to forget, during times he hardly recalls, but it never truly steels his heart. If you asked him, he could not tell you what he hopes to find here. What he really wants can never be found on this side of town. One morning, some time later, we find Mr. Keahon in the middle of his normal ritual. He's found something new to spend his money on: Penicillin. He draws a hot bath and settles in for a soak, when something makes his eyes light up: The screen of his smart phone, as it plays a special jingle. “Oh, my bad. Butt dial!” Bernard Keahon is my pornstar name, by the way. First pet+Road you first lived on. It's not me, though. Not in the slightest xd

It's painted yellow now.
Gross.

I started playin' Bit.Trip Fate again today. Beat da boss I was stuck on before... and then met the next one who was 10 TIMES HARDER
They're cool games and all but I will never understand the appeal of making your game INFURIATINGLY UNFAIR

You know how making food necessary to keep your health above half in minecraft was a pain?
Now, in the newest pre-release, you can starve all the way to death. In one day cycle.
They took a relatively unpopular feature and put a heavier emphasis on it.
Brilliant dev team.
Edit: Oh, wait, I just had the difficulty up higher than usual. Good times.

I don't know how interested any of you guys are in Xenoblade, but it's possible that the game is only available through pre-order. Even if it's not, the limited release it's getting suggests that it won't have a very large print run; you should probably get on it. On another note, Xenoblade comes out in April and The Last Story comes out in June. Game companies need to stop scheduling releases I'm interested in for the same months as the Madoka LEs. gonk

Zephyrkitty I finally picked up Rhythm Heaven today. I don't know when I'll start it though; I'm partway through Fate/Extra and Devil Survivor 2 comes out in a week. cat_biggrin Yay! It's a pretty easy to play it with other games. The levels are short. ...But also it's hard to stop playing.
