The folders and patch news is cool. I'm glad to be able to organize better all of my stuff because I have a s**t-ton of it, and it's good that they're finally patching Mario Kart for that stupid exploit. Here's to hoping it's more than just fixes and maybe a little bit of new content.
NSMB DOES look bland as hell. I have never really liked how it looked, and I was hoping that the rumored Super Mario Bros 4 (though that's already technically SMW) was going to be a sprite-based game with 3D layers on the 3DS. I'd been hoping they would do a NSMB2 forever now (though I thought the Wii one might be that) that would be more in the vein of SMB2, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Hopefully there'll be at least a world similar to SMB2 but if there isn't I don't care all that much. I'm just happy that he gets the raccoon suit and can actually fly again. It could look like a bucket of turds and that addition alone lets me know that it's going to be a fun game.
And is that a gold suit he has in one of the screens? It might just be a starman but I'm pretty sure those show more than one color at a time and another screenshot shows a bunch of gold enemies (koopas and piranha plants). Coming out in August, no less. I guess it doesn't take long to develop one of those. I'd be jerking off right now if it were available for eShop for less than 40 bucks.
Still no new footage or screens of Paper Mario or Luigi's Mansion 2, though, which kind of stinks. AC is in the fall-was hoping it'd be sooner, but when it comes, it comes I suppose, and NSMB2 will hold me for a bit. All in all probably the best Nintendo Direct yet, to be fair.
