ANYway.
I actually dropped in to fangirlishly rant about the shimeji I just downloaded.
My computer has become one with Mother Russia and it has never been more abso-freaking-lutely adorable~!!
It's the personification of Russia (also known as Ivan Braginski~) from Hetalia.
He hangs out on my task bar, pacing and sitting around and occasionally getting drunk on vodka, he even climbs around on my browser sometimes, haha~
He's keeping me company since I'm home alone all the time.
IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO GET THE SHIMEJI TO WORK BUT IT WAS WORTH IT THIS IS ADORABLE OH MY GOSHHHHHH. emotion_0A0

It took me a while to get captures of his poses, haha~
He doesn't sit around and adorably drink vodka for me much, so I upped my odds by adding lots of tiny Russias, but it still took a while for one of them to want to get drunk, haha~
Anyway, they're screen caps, so I'll just link them.
Drinking Russia
Falling Russia (he's up by the top, he's yelling "vodka" in Russian, haha~)
Crawling Russia
He has some other poses, but I couldn't get the "mischievous" version of the shimeji program to work and the "calm" version (the one I'm using~) doesn't use all of the poses the other does.
I'd just link up to the actual images, but I'm pretty sure the person that made the images had a "no share" policy on the originals.
They mostly just like to sit around looking adorable, as you can see, haha~
But they're lots of fun, I think, they've been entertaining me all day, haha~
Aaand, now you all know what Spazzy does with her free time. XD

My beau doesn't get how I can obsess so much over just character art, but whatever~

Of course, don'cha know the adorable little buggers all decided they wanted to get blitzed after I had all the captures I needed.
And then they all started climbing my browser and then diving off the edge yelling "VODKA!" and scaring the bajeezus out of me with their sky diving.

I've also seen a movie of it (I'm not sure what year or anything, I watched it with a friend at uni while we were on kind of cult classic kick one day).
I also own at least one copy of the book, perhaps two or three, I'm not sure, to be honest, as I'm big on snatching up cheap old version classics.
(I have a copy of Homer's Odyssey that is literally falling apart, but I wanted the old one over a new edition, haha~ I also have a... second or third edition paperback copy of War of the Worlds that's in bad shape, though I intend to patch it up)

The good news is, I'll sneak on my laptop on thursday and friday, I have off-- teacher in service days. I heard you didn't get your glasses yet. I hope you get them soon. Want me to write in bigger font? There was one sentence in chapter 16 for Picture of Dorian Gray I fell in LOVE with! “There were opium-dens, where one could buy oblivion, dens of horror where the memory of old sins could be destroyed by the madness of sins that were new.” I just had to read that over so many times because it has so much description and it is full of beautiful description and imagry <3
