Vincent's eyes slowly began to open as he could see they were back in the normal bare training facility. His whole body ached as he could see Phantom from the ground. He failed...he couldn't even beat this old man in front of him. Vincent began to try and move as he yelped loudly. "Um...Phantom..." he started out. "Can you give me a hand? I would just get up...but my body doesn't want to move like my brain wants it to" he said to him. Vincent's body wasn't the only thing that was hurt, his pride was too. He just wanted to get his body worked on and seclude himself away from the others.
Jeannie sat at a table for poker alongside Luca. Instead of training the couple decided to test their luck at gambling. The couple had racked up a nice sum of money, with the use of Jeannie's telepathic abilities. She of course never had played poker before so Luca would guide her in what she should look for and what and when to play. She looked at her hand and back to Luca. So Luca....what do you have in your hand, I want to clean these bastards out for everything they own she projected to her partner with a smirk. One very large and very hairy man sat across from Jeannie grunting like a castrated bull. She kept an eye on him just in case he tried something funny.

Bailey fell to her knees. She wanted to scream out in pain, to let her agony known to the world, but all she could do was kneel there with her mouth agape and her eyes widened that she was sure that they would pop out of their sockets. The three remaining vectors struggled against her hold on them, pulling her in a most painful manner. To her, it felt like all of her organs were being ripped out one by one through her back despite the fact that this was not the case.
Dots began to form in front of Bailey's aquamarine eyes, a clear sign that she was on the brink of unconsciousness. The ground below her began to warp itself, twisting and turning, her vision began to blur. Parts of her body had become numb. The only thing she could feel was the pain that continued to taunt her. But the Vector Owl knew that she could not rest until the three remaining vectors were at bay at least temporarily. Like pushing a heavy concrete block, Bailey continued to push them down.
Ever so slowly, they began to give way. The sheer strength it took would bring Bailey close to the breaking point. After what seemed like an eternity, the vectors were trapped within her, but not dormant. She could feel them swirling angrily inside of her, battling her control from the inside. Bailey's already pale complexion had turned chalky bruises formed on her porcelean flesh from the inner trauma she was suffering. Her blurred vision looked upon Roulin who stood before her, watching as she battled against herself.

Itachi boosted the fire on his right leg performing a large flip over the debris as he cut the flames to the different flying debris spreading even more dust everywhere. Itachi then seeing that the dust was making normal vision mostly useless, switches to relying on his heat sensing skill that he had learned at a young age and had perfected over the years. Since even mostly robotics like Sibal produced heat in one way or another Itachi was still able to spot him within the dust cloud covering the area.
Still it was then that he got a new idea to try out as he turned about and actually flew down towards the ground as he sent 2 large balls of fire toward Sibal each larger then Sibal himself to mask where Itachi went as the balls effectivly screened him from even thermal vision and possibly radar. ( Not sure how radar works exactly so not sure on that point. ) He then as he hit the ground spun rapidly as he flipped upside down so that he would hit the ground feet first as he began heating up the ground all throughought the ruins. Then superheating the area around himself and using his newly gained momentum he actually tunnels into the ground, using his heat ability to melt the ground as he moved through it and to keep from taking damage from it of course.
Now with his underground position obviously hidden from sight he began superheating the ground in the area around Sibal at first and began spreading the effect to make a quicksand like effect with the melting ground to hopefully either slow, injure or perhaps even trap Sibal. After seeing how this worked out he would go from there.

Tai grinned as he jumped backward, he reared his claw backward and then pointed it forward with a grim laugh, Seven crimson spears of crystallized blood spiraled towards Che, the crystal tips were linked to a liquid chain, allowing them to dart around wildly before they zeroed in on their intended target. Three of them were aimed to pierce him in a direct attack and then the others shot outward to to surround and ensnare him. As Tai began using more and more blood, slowly his heart could not handle the influx of blood flow on its own, Tai began to force his body to keep blood flowing to where he needed it most, in order to maintain his attack.

The Satan Owl found it quite amusing that Radiant was trying to poke fun with these questions that she deemed to be rhetorical. It was simple really. The question she asked had a clear answer although the answer would never be advertised. It didn't matter if Lucifer or a previous Owl was "in charge." Things like were just a small obstacle if they even were at issue...which they weren't. The truth was that Satan rarely hid behind the devil's smirk and his silver tongue. They were traits of his, and the demonic blonde did lack more emotional attachments than the usual people. It came with his lack of care. The substitute for that was his possessiveness and dislike for sharing.
"Of course, it's rather a time for something else, hmm?" Will replied with that all knowing smile on his face. Radiant could find out in the afterlife. Noel had gotten soft. That was Will's opinion of her. There was no need to speak to Radiant about it. Will and Noel were out of Radiant's league, and she couldn't begin to even understand Noel as Will did. The devil merely smiled innocently at Radiant when she mentioned his status on the battlefield. "Never. I guarantee you I haven't lost my touch. What sort of standard would I be setting then, hmm? Meanwhile, you should make yourself a bit more useful. It will kill that boredom of yours."
At this time, Will sighed as he sensed the training battles going on. "Well, the fledgling Heralds are done training for the moment. They could do better." They could ALL do better, but a start was better than nothing. Vincent and Phantom were pretty much done too. Bailey was still fighting with herself while Roulin watched half bored. Some of the others had gone to the casino to play, and others were just sitting around. Itachi and Sibal had begun fighting, and Will could tell Itachi had been slacking. He clearly hadn't even finished the task Will had given him. Another disappointing fight was the one with Cheani, Tai, and Sebastian. Tai had finally stopped restraining himself so much, but he still wasn't going full out. Oh, come on, Tai. Where is that inner strength? I want you to draw blood. Sebastian, I don't expect you to idle around forever.

Sibal's ears perked up slightly at the noises. He shifted a little in the rubble, the sounds of a generator began to hum from his body as it began to glow a bright blue color. As the fireballs hurdled towards him they collided with Sibal's body bursting away. Sibal looked up towards Itachi, using his sense of hearing and smell to search for him. The fire, though hot wasn't on a scale needed to burn Sibal's body. As the ground beneath him began to shake and shift Sibal pushed off the ground he only needed to get an inch or so off the ground, as he did so a pentagon shaped panel opened up underneath him keeping him from the ground. As he looked down at the shifting ground he held out his hands using his metal manipulation he hurled metal pipes and foundation deep into the ground, the temperature needed to melt metal varied but it needed to be far hotter then to simply melt and shift the ground, besides it wasn't about getting the area around his metal attack hot enough to melt it, it was about heating up the actual metal. Sibal forced the metal deep into the ground creating a cap like affect between him and Itachi. He then pushed off the panel shooting into the air, as he came crashing down his body gained momentum from his large weight. Smashing into the ground Sibal attempted to cave Itachi underground in a prison of his own melted rock and Sibal's twisted metal. Reaching up Sibal grasped hold of another kinetic panel he created, soon he pulled himself up and onto the panel to avoid being sucked under by Itachi's traps.
His answers were to be expected. She smiled and laughed as he called her useless, in a sense. "Useful? I gave Dante the power over black fire, Anderson the power to use the Arch Dragon and I think that 'weasel'? boy I believe asked me for some assistance a long time ago, not to mention the contract I fulfilled for Che. I may not be an actor on this stage Will, or a soldier on the front lines but I make myself useful. Just try not to get blown up, I remember Raven from the incident on Exire, she's quite the fighter." She listened to Will's evaluation of the Herald's performances, she couldn't tell what they were doing or how well they were fighting so she went with Will's assumption. "Well then it's good they have two weeks to improve, and if they can't. Well then at the very least they gave it their best. If they lose all hope is not lost, the world will continue on just on a different path." She of course didn't want them to lose, she hoped with all her heart that they would win but the world wouldn't stop spinning if they lost, a new day would come and with it a new world, for the better or worse she couldn't say.

Itachi stopped smirking when the metal objects Sibal threw into the ground but thanks to Itachi training his power to respond to reflex his body turned into flame on impact with the metal objects saving him from damage as he decided to make his move when Sibal came down trying to trap him. Heaving upwards with his powers the now quasimelted ground became all but completly liquified in the area around itachi and Sibal upwards as the ground launched upwards in the form of a lava golem of sorts as it opened up its giant mouth and spread its arms trying to envelope Sibal whole as it launched upwards from the ground warping it all over from the spreading effects of the heat. Coming out in the opening provided by his golem he reformed above and behind Sibal but he didnt attack instead he put both his arms out as his eyes glowed fiercely as a red aura appeared around him a sign that he was beginning to fight seriously.
Also somewhere else in Wills giant building back where the party was going on sudden cries and shouts broke the previous sound of laughter and good times. One by one the people that Will had ordered Itachi to kill fell to the floor dead from heart attacks. This was a result of what Itachi had done before moving to meet with Will in his office. He had placed a hand gently on the shoulders of each of his targets as he went by wishing them goodwill and such while all the while placing a small charge of electricity into there bodies. This triggered the previously mentioned heart attacks as ithad worked through the victoms bodies before releasing in there hearts. The cause of death woulsd be ruled as heart attack and Itachi would be seen as completly unrelated to there deaths. It likely wouldnt be long before Will found out about there deaths and what his response would be if he even had one no one would likely geus. Afterall Will was anything but predictable.

"Sounds like a plan...I think I'd do better as both lookout and sniper or something. I have the speed...and the aim to do so," replied Moli as he stumbled along with the anguish that stemmed from his bruised ribs. A grinned was etched into Moli's reddened features when Cecilia announced his injuries to the other two combatants. He'd done his part in this team effort even if it did cause him his shoulder. Unlike Cecilia, he could still force out a bit of his powers whether they were of his Herald set or his synthetic set. Rather than do that though, he decided to rest on the fact that if Cecilia wanted to finish the team battle, she'd have to fight against Anya powerless. This fight between them was draw, but it was his team that held the upper hand in this battle.
"I'm...I'm about ready to head on back up to the main place. Where Will is and all of them. I'm ready to not fight for a while, you know?" Moli's eyes wandered up to Cecilia's blue form which seemed darker in the low light of this infinite room. With his eyes he inquired whether or not she as was ready to take a breather as he was. Anya seemed to be relatively unharmed, so she could still fight if requested. Anderson...poor Anderson was all that came to the Light Herald's mind. "He's alright...Anya just bit him and poisoned him like the viper she is. C'mon. Let's get him back up to the main office shall we?"
~~~
Roulin's sight had remained upon Bailey as she battled against her sentient power. He couldn't say that he felt sorry for her as her power was her's. It was meant for her to control and not be a slave to. The paradigm for the longest was just that, but even now as she fought valiantly to control her powers, he still couldn't bring himself to feel sorry for her. Her efforts, he did admit, were admirable and commendable. Bailey's vectors weren't toys like many other powers were to people. These were weapons. Live weapons that needed to be tamed now and not later. Roulin was proud of her in this moment, but he pitied that it took her until now to do this. He was neither disappointed nor satisfied by her choice and subsequent actions and his basic expression exuded this greatly. He wasn't as indifferent as he seemed though.
Shaking his head as the vector retreated again into the girl's back, he began to walk over to the downed girl. He gazed upon her body which at this point was weak, beaten and riddled with small bruises and lacerations. The edge of his lip twisted and his expression finally changed. A cocked brow and the pulled back corner of his lips gave him a look of pity. He'd been in this same situation. Trying to handle powers...trying to learn them as fast as he could...trying to kill people who had powers that outclassed his. This was hardly any different. Maybe it was just that he could see his eternal situation in her that made him give some kind of emotion to the girl. If that was the case, then The Life Owl truly become a selfish, yet ironically caring man.
Kneeling to Bailey's side, he slipped a hand over her shoulder. Her back was dripping with sweat and so was her neck and hair. Further, the corner of his lip dug into his cheek. Attempting his hand and carefulness, he pulled Bailey back off of her knees and placed his free arm behind the curve of her knees to lift her. In moments, Roulin was on his way out of the illusion based room. "Bailey," Roulin started while keeping his dark violet eyes against the near darkness of one of Will's long hallways, "You did good."
"Ugh...goddamn it kid..." Che's tone came off as exasperated, but more or less, he was simply in disagreement with this event. Tai was fun to fight, but as he thought before, all fighters had to have some kind of backup "generator". In other words, another more feral side equipped with some kind of projectile whether it was fast moving or slow. If it weren't blood, which conducted the element Che was laced with now, this fight wouldn't be so decidedly one sided. Like this, he could strike the boy unless he wanted to short him out violently. Giving a quick scratch to his blue, illuminated hair which crackled and popped as he went at his scalp, he began to think of a method of attack for Tai.
The sliced cards that littered the area around Che, Tai and Sebastian stood on their ends like little paper soldiers poised for combat. When the spike tipped chains came whizzing in, the cards either drove themselves through the crystallized connections, or blocked the tips from striking Che. The manipulator himself wasn't fazed by any of this as it wasn't his own safety he was concerned with. When the threat was neutralized, other cards shot up to Tai's feet in an attempt to ensnare him and slam him against the ground. Now, the Mastering Owl wanted only to detain the boy. Afterwards would come the stern beating he had in store for the younger Owl from the start.
In Cecilia's eyes, a rest was definitely what they could use. The only person who was still whole from this training session was Anya. Moli could still use his powers of course, but he did have injuries that needed to be taken care of first, despite the fact that he passed them off as nothing. Anderson...the poor guy was completely out cold and who knew how long it would be until he awoke. Cecilia was willing to admit that, as a whole, Moli's team had basically won this round.
Standing up, her knees popping from crouching beside Moli for a few minutes, she walked over towards Anderson. A rather funny image entered her head and she snerked. "Wish we had a feather and some whipped cream," she said thinking of the classic childish prank that never grew old. Lifting Andersin into a sitting position, she placed his arms around her shoulders and stood. It was like giving a rather large kid a piggy back right. However, Cecilia was stronger than she looked and even though Anderson was heavy, she was able to walk with him. Bailey had managed to retract the three uncontrollable vectors, but the battle for control was still long from over. Even though she had trapped them once again, there was still that chance that they would emerge. She could feel them within her. They were angry. The other three vectors, which were under her control, were more placid. She could feel them, but they did not inflict inner trauma upon her.
The Diclonious Owl watched as Roulin stepped up to her. His expression gave him a look of pity. She wished that he wouldn't look at her like that. Her powers were hers, and it was her that must learn to control them. No one else could do it for her. She was sure she must have looked a sight. Her raven hair was damp with sweat and stuck to the back of her neck. Her skin was slick with that same perspiration. Blood from her injuries mixed in with the sweat. To someone who didn't know of the situation, it would seem that quite a few people had taken baseball bats and beaten her repeatedly with them.
She inhaled sharply as Roulin lifted her carefully. Even though he took great care to try and not bring anymore pain to the young woman, every movement caused her some form of agony. Her arms rested upon her stomach. Even though she had her head propped against his shoulder for support, there was nothing even remotely romantic about this, which suited her just fine. She looked up at him when he spoke to her giving her, what could only be seen as, a compliment. Her lips formed a weak smile. "Today maybe, but I have a feeling it'll take more than one day for me to gain full control," she said. Bailey was a realist. It would take more effort than what happened today.
The blonde devil smirked as Radiant replied. The manner in she spoke was a suppressed retort. She was trying to prove her actions to be of use to him, even though mentally, she thought she didn't need to prove anything to the Satan Owl. "Yadda yadda yadda..." Will sang as Radiant rambled on about fulfilling contracts that supposed granted great power to the users. True, they granted powers, but she was still not doing what she could. She wasn't actually participating well enough even in the back lines. "You done now?" He didn't care that he was being rude. "You're contradicting yourself." By hoping they did their best, Radiant was contradicting herself earlier when she said "doing a good job" didn't mean sh*t because something would change either way. Scythe was too lazy to type out the whole logic to make it completely understandable, so he won't explain further. As for Raven, Will wasn't concerned about her. He was the devil. He reveled in chaos. If she wanted to blow things up, she was welcome to. He didn't consider her a personal threat. No, she was just a toy, a toy with potential...just as many of the pieces on the board. "Still emotional, I see... if you're going to keep or lose a facade, you've still got a lot of work to do on that end," he chided as a general remark. Then again, this was coming from a guy who was beyond a master at facades.
Will heard of the latent deaths in the party room, but he was not pleased with Itachi. Itachi was supposed to kill them before he left the room, so that they actually died in the party room. Because of Itachi's error, there were dead bodies in other places besides the party room. It was bad for business. Some people had dropped dead on the casino floor, creating a little bit more work for the other casino employees. Thanks to the coordination, people did not notice too much and business went on as usual.
There were two groups of people trooping toward the office, the n00b and newbie Heralds and Roulin and his baggage Bailey. "Heh...alright, who wants to practice their healing skills or wants to be creative with their abilities to induce healing?" Will hollered into his office. He smirked as he noticed Che's battle. That student of his was underestimating his opponents. Tai wasn't all that Che thought he was, and Sebastian was Will's butler. That had to mean something more than the usual, and Che probably did understand that, but not as much as he should.
Aeon who had not participated in the training exercises had been reading a book from Will's personal library. She had to admit the man had good taste in literature, kind of odd but still good taste. When it seemed that people were finishing with their training, she continued to read. Knowing that she wouldn't fight in the "epic final battle" she was way more lax, maybe it was just a mechanism for her road to recovery. Once everyone was back in the office she looked up to see the many people who were injured, including Moli. When Will asked if anyone could be creative with their abilities to induce healing, Aeon was a bit nervous. She thought of almost everyone's abilities and most of them only had offensive abilities. Buckling down with the little courage she had left she stood up and placed the book down.
"I think that maybe I can probably do it" she said honestly. She was nervous as hell, and apart of her wanted to use the drug to help her out this time, but there were too many people in front of her, she may have been a recovering addict but she still did have a sort of pride in her reputation amongst the others. Closing her eyes, Aeon began to focus on each wounded individual in the room. "heal...heal...heal" she murmured to herself trying to trigger her projection abilities. "...heal...heal heal....heal heal heal heal heal heal heal" she kept repeating focusing more and more and stressing the words that were coming out of her mouth. An almost blinding light filled the room and once it died down, the wounded were slowly being healed. The total process would take no longer than 10 minutes but it was effective and Aeon was relieved that it had actually worked. She stumbled back to her seat to catch her breath after her performance just now.
As even Sibal's dense body was thrown into the air his mind raced as he quickly devised a plan. He curled up into a ball as a tri-layered sphere made of nearly three thousand tiny hexagon shaped panels wrapped around his body. As the golem's magma body enveloped him Sibal did nothing. There were a few brief moments where nothing occurred, until a rumbling could be seen coming from the golem's core. Metal objects from around the area flew towards the Golem piercing into it's volcanic body, after a few more minutes Sibal's plan came to fruition. A sudden molten hot spray of metal burst from the golem's body, and was soon followed b the sphere of kinetic panels keeping Sibal safe from the magma's intense heat, what Sibal had done was gather metal into the golem and wait for it to melt until he could use it as a different weapon. Now free from it's magma Sibal landed on the ground spinning his four arms he manipulated the torrent of melted metal hurling it's vicious might towards Itachi.
Radiant let out a laugh at the remark of her contradicting herself. "Will, you don't have the right to say anyone contradicts or carries on facades. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, and you my friend are about as far from that as possible." She walked towards the door, but turned around to say a few more things. "I'll give you your credit perhaps it is time I stepped out from back stage and into the real thick of it all. Phantom always was one to take a more drastic approach perhaps I need to take a page from his and your books and start acting more like a piece in this game rather then just an observer." With that she left the balcony, she had gotten her breathe of fresh air and a nice chat with Will. As she entered the building again she looked to the side to see that Lucien was sitting in a chair with his son still in his arms, now asleep from all the excitement. She smiled and walked from the room without a word, not wanting to break Lucien's concentration, not that she thought anything she could say would.
((Sebastian---NPC))
“Cosy….not quite to my taste but cosy…” The blacked haired butler mused in private as he remained stationary. Thanks to Che’s previous defensive attack, Sebastian was now almost completely covered in paper and unable to move freely as the surprisingly useful substance hardened. Seb was now some sort of human mache experiment. “Water...” The butler was very tempted to simply open up a portal beneath his feet that would take him to some sort of pond or bath tub…But yet, he remained where he was looking rather amused by everything that was taking place before him. “It is a shame that this is only a mere sparing session and nothing to get overly excited about.” Of course, Seb was only speaking for himself, for Tai was already growing more excited by the minute…Nothing out of character there. Tai was one crazy kid…this was why Sebastian enjoyed working with him at times like this.
A small twinge of pain caught the dark haired males attention and even earned a small glance downwards. Tai was apparently beginning to use his blood manipulation power and had even gone through the trouble to manipulate Seb’s blood into eating away at the hardened paper. “Hmm? Tai…What did I tell you about using my blood without my permission…?” Not that Seb really cared…this was just another excuse for him to screw with his blood manipulating friend. Che’s little comment about Tai’s Bi-Polar flaring up was quite the understatement…Going by looks alone Sebastian was pretty sure Tai was pretty close to going berserk or he was already there. Either way, it was amusing as always.
While the two others continued to fight Sebastian sorted himself out and broke free from the paper mache case and stretched. A small smile played on his lips as he got the feeling a certain blonde was not happy with the progress of the fights taking place. “Come now Will…If I were fighting to kill I would gladly put more effort into this…For me this is nothing but snakes and ladders…A child’s game of which I hold no interest in…” Chuckling at his thoughts, Seb placed his hands inside his jacket and pulled out two handfuls of needles. With little to no effort on his behalf, the dark eyed butler opened up a few portals and sent the needles flying through them their ending would be through several portals that opened up around Che at all angles. “Now now Che…Let Tai play with you some more. He is very eager.” The needles were simple distractions and something else for the Mastering Owl to dodge.
Will smirked, highly amused at Radiant's dull response. Oh, the devil had the right, and even if he didn't, he'd still technically have the right. He could see through facades, and he was the master of pulling facades without people seeing through him. He laughed at Radiant as she apparently decided it was finally time to end the conversation and walk away. "Ahaha.... he who is without sin has no right and does not exist. Poor woman...still so unknowledgeable despite trying to hold otherwise. Let those who know explain first." He shook his head when he heard her last comments. "He's done even less sh*t than you. Useless couple~" the blonde mused. So inexperienced these people were, but that was to be expected when compared to someone with over two thousand years of experience. If Will was saddened by the fact that he had no suitable successor, he didn't show it. He wasn't worried about it at all, so there was no point to be saddened about it.
Back in the room, Will heard Aeon attempt to heal people. Apparently, she overdid herself because somehow, all six people (Rou, Bailey, Anderson, Anya, Moli, CC) were healed. He could feel it. He shrugged and didn't bother complimenting Aeon. But then he heard Sebastian's response to him. Ah, Sebastian... is that so? Then try to kill Cheani. I want him pushed to his limit. He's not in shape at all.
Tai's body shuddered, and he let out another slight chuckle as he doubled over, blood ligtly had traced the corner of his lip. He spat up a small amount of blood, his "Armored" arm drooped slightly, but he quickly looked up and refocused on the target. Tai clenched his hand and then opened it again, sending two more towards him, the others had stopped short from Che's defenses, Tai had warned him time and again, however he would no longer let his words fall on deaf ears, Tai was now going in for the kill, however he had paused, there was a something restraining him, It was the damn cards again. Tai simply grinned, he allowed the cards to hold him down, however he would still feign a struggle, and by that...He was still not going to give the Mastering Owl a pause to catch his breath, as the spears, which seemed angered, flailed and then spiraled around him and resumed their attack, flinging themselves for another attack, Tai coughed again as his body struggled to maintain itself at the expense of Tai's attack.
