... I'm surprised I haven't put a hole in the wall and or made a flat spot on the back of my head; I've hit my head so many times against the wall trying to figure out what to put in this frigging essay. IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!
-put's head through wall-
Wilde, I love your writing, but I don't like writing essays out of our paradoxical quotes. It makes me feel dumb and makes my head hurt. emo

*bangs head on keyboard* I kept my minion up until about eleven last night before I beat him at a two player game to piss him off (he's a terribly sore loser) so he'd go to bed and fall asleep easily for my mum. I figured, the kid is only in kindergarten, eleven is a pretty reasonable hour (at least for him), and then he'll sleep in for my mum. Seems logical, right? Of course, by now I should expect any minion of mine will not follow logic. Kid is up before the a** crack of ******** dawn. Four in the morning. FOUR. He gets up and comes out, gets himself a drink, tries to talk me into giving him an ice cream sandwich ("It is not even breakfast time, I am NOT giving you ice cream"), then proceeds to inform me that I am going to shoot zombies with him on my Wii. So I set us up in House of the Dead and figure he'll get bored or tired and go back to bed shortly, right? Wrong. We played all the way through HotD 3, and halfway through HotD 2 three times; total time spent zombie killing: two hours. Kid was spliced with the genetics of the ******** Energizer bunny, I swear... He finally got tired of my being entirely unable to play all the way through HotD 2 and went back to bed. If I had free play unlocked in it, I'm sure he'd still be out here with me. S'pose it's right good news that I was still up at this hour to amuse him, though... *flops over* I need more coffee than I have in the house to keep up with this kid...

OH MY GOD YOU MADE MY DAY! Saying that he is part energizer bunny holy shiitake mushrooms oh my god I can't stop laughing!! At least you can have fun... I'm on a strict "NO FUN" diet. At least until Tuesday. I have to get all my school s**t done: two essay rewrites and are beyond god awful and stressful (Have I ever cried over an essay before? I don't think so...) Anyway, i wish I could play with you, but my mummy would never let me play FPS games... emotion_8c

You sound like me though most of my school career, haha. Take on ALL the things! Cry over ALL the things! My beau can vouch for me on that one, that's how my whole second year of college went. ^^; House of the Dead is a semi-old arcade game; it was really popular in the late nineties. (How do I know? My mum worked at an arcade/rental place around that time and I hung out there while she had to work. XD ) The first one terrified me, would probably STILL terrify me; the second and third DEFINITELY terrify me, despite awful late nineties graphics. And it's a game my cousin will REQUEST for us to play. Not any of the kid-friendly shooting games (shooting cartoon chickens or playing a virtual Nerf gun battle), but the zombie games that scare the bajeezus out of me. He prefers Left 4 Dead on the xbox, which was the game he ACTUALLY wanted to play, but I don't have it here (because I suck at that game hardcore AND it terrifies me), but he likes HotD fair well since I taught him how to play. ("Okay, you want zombies, this is all I have; just point and shoot, I'll play with you.") I reallyreallyreally don't much like FPS games, plus the fact that I can't play them even my life were to depend on it, but that's the genre my cousin is into (Thank you so much, uncle, for not being an RPG kind of person...). If my SNES or N64, or maybe even my Sega Genesis, had been more readily available (I've recently packed up all my game systems in preparation for switching out our TV setup) I MIGHT have been able to talk him into playing something else, like Mariokart or Sonic or maybe even Zelda ("Just press this button and throw your boomerang at them, then walk up and smack them with this button."), and probably Samurai Showdown (a fighter on the SNES; when you can tell a kid how to play a game by saying "Just press buttons. Any of them, all of them, just press them." they'll usually be all for it), but, well, they WEREN'T readily available, and the Wii was the only system with games and wires and everything all in one place, so, terrify myself with ALL the zombies to amuse my cousin! He's one of terribly few children I actually like, so he can talk me into doing anything...

@Danny That game scared me so bad. Not as bad as the Jurassic Park game, but it was still scary. I liked watching some of the regulars play it, though.
@Jin In general, I absolutely DESPISE children. (A lot of people will read this and go "OMG, YOU'RE SUCH A HORRIBLE PERSON, HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE KIDS?" But, whatever, I've never liked children, and I don't see that fact ever changing in my lifetime.) I have two cousins that I call my minions, and they're about the only children I'm allowed to be left in a room alone with. >>; They're mega smart, and, for whatever reason, have both liked me since they were toddlers (despite that the rest of the children in my family fear me enough that I am regularly used as a disciplinary threat). They also are both into video games, so it's easy for me to amuse them. cat_xd
In other news, I have discovered two Monthly Collectible Letters for December 2011 in my inventory recently, and... I have ABSOLUTELY no sodding clue how I got them. I'm fair sure I didn't BUY them (I'm a miser, this actually has almost 100% probability of being true). Which, in theory, means they MUST have been gifts... But, golly, who gave them to me... What a conundrum... cat_confused

Ooo jurassic park
Lol imagine I said to you "Oh, it was me that gave you the December 2011 letter." And the person who actually did is like "What the ********?" emotion_0A0
That would be so hilarious. But I'm not that cruel.
What a spinach indeed.

I was trying for thee longest time to convince my parents to let us (my brother, sister, and I) to buy this old style arcade game. You know, the box-y-ish kind? It was LOADED with all kind of 16bit games! It had the buttons and the joystick and everything!~ And it was multiplayer! But it was something like $230 and they said no emotion_8c And it would have looked sooooo cool in the bar downstairs! I'm glad you can play with your cousin; they're like that sibling you've always wanted but never got, always get along with and can relate too. That stuff. My cousins are either too old or too young for that. The ones who are too old are away at college and I am assigned to force them to come down to the family picnic (not that I want to be there either) but I want to see them. And the ones that are too young are nine... emotion_facepalm I wanna hang out and play video games with my Brandy! And four hours later, when we both get migraines, we can complain together! emotion_hug

And four hours later, when we both get migraines, we can complain together! emotion_hug That actually wasn't a bad price for something in a real arcade setup... Though it's still a fair amount to drop on something, so I can understand. ^^; All of my cousins but one are well outside my age range. The one that isn't is about half a year older than me, but he's awesome, we're into all the same stuff and everything, we hide from our family on holidays and play games and read manga and books together, and we're still trying to figure out how to both go to Ohayocon together, haha~ I have two that are well older than me; one's a convicted felon currently in jail, and the other lives three hours away and doesn't get along with me (despite that I idolized her when I was little). The rest are young; the oldest of them is in fifth grade (well, actually, I have one that isn't blood-related but is TECHNICALLY my uncle's kid via marriage that's just old enough to get her permit), the youngest are in kindergarten. The one that stayed over on Friday is my uncle's youngest, one of the two that are in kindergarten, and the kid is better at shooting zombies than I am, and I'm old enough to drink! He loves hanging out with me, though, because I have a ton of games and I'll play whatever he wants with him; I even have a special page of apps on my phone for him, I spoil him because he's my minion. I have another minion, my aunt's middle child, he's in first or second grade now (coincidentally the same age as my beau's youngest cousin AND in the same school AND they're friends, freaky~), he loves me because I treat him fairly and treat him like a real person with his own opinions and let him make his own decisions. (My auntie should have stopped at one kid...) I'd love to hang with you and play games, that'd be so super cool~ emotion_kirakira I have a lot of systems and games, so we'd have a lot to choose from! emotion_yatta

One of my moms cousins are in jail so... I can somewhat relate. I was once better at playing video games than my parents sons (who were in 8th grade and I was all of maybe 5? Button mashing for the win!) I'll be able to drink in... 5 years. :s Not that I would want to play video games with my younger cousins, but their parents forbid them from watching cartoon network and stuff (I can kind of see why) They're only allowed to watch Disney and Nickelodeon. The good news is, when it comes to Easter and being left at my Aunt and Uncle's house for 7+ hours with nothing to do, I have an older cousin-like person. He's like my Aunt's nephew or something like that.
