Well, reading a book would require the motivation of actually finding one. Either way, it's gone. I guess I don't really do anything about it because, well...it'd be weird to say there's something I like about those times, but that's pretty much how it goes. With the emptiness I feel more relaxed than usual, I guess. I mean, the detachment gets some creativity going too, so I can't really complain.

As long as you don't feel shitty and aren't doing anything you'll regret, I can't see what it hurts to enjoy a moment of serenity.
Sometimes I feel like the occasional purging of all thoughts from my mind is key to my mental health. I mean, not usually, but sometimes. Usually it happens when I need to get something done. At least that's when I notice it.
...or care.

On the same level, though, doing nothing makes me go crazy. I have actually used creativity to keep myself from feeling worthless when I'm not zoned out.
Most of my life I was all about drawing. For all the time I spent doing it I never really got more than okay at it.
Maybe if I was forced to and encouraged for making progress in it like I was when I learned to make pottery I'd be really good at it. I mean, when I largely gave up on it I was probably pretty good for my age.
It was because I'd spent a lifetime learning to draw and so little of that translated to using a tablet, which I'd dreamed of for yeeeeeeeeears. (Absolute erasing and an undo/redo feature? Yes please)
Tangents in the Spam Can? Somebody call the discussion police.

ALSO: It's funny how clever Sony must think they are having come up with the whole "being able to play save data from a console version of a game on a handheld" as a way to get people to buy the same game twice.
Nobody is going to do that, and if they do they are retarded.

Nobody is going to do that, and if they do they are retarded. I personally want unique games for my portable too. I don't want to just play games I already have. Or, at least, not new games that I JUST bought for my PS3. There's no way of making that seem like a good idea.

It'd work well if you could use the internet connection for your Vita to connect to your PSN account and play any downloaded games you have on your PS3 or something but I didn't know you needed to buy each game twice to play it like that. That's really dumb.

Original games? Puh. I'd rather just play downscaled versions of console games.
