Allegro Zephyrkitty Allegro Zephyrkitty Allegro Mystery Dungeon is classified more as a Roguelike. Conquest appears to basically be FFTA with Pokemon so I need like eight copies. Ah. I clearly can't tell genres apart, so thanks for clarifying that. sweatdrop I haven't played any of the FFT games yet, but Tactics Ogre was really good and I've liked what SRPGs I've played. Conquest is probably worth a try. The FFTA games will be great intros to the genre for you, if you can find them. Do you own a PSP or PS2? Or a Cube? I can drum up a list for you. I'll keep an eye out for it. I own all of those, along with a DS lite. Remind me to make you a list of strategy games. Buy Fire Emblem Sacred Stones for sure though. Here's your reminder. I'm not entirely sure why I don't have Sacred Stones, especially since I have most of the other FE games that came out here. I'll see if I can find a copy for a decent price.

I'm pretty sure that Giegue (how do you pronounce that even??) from Earthbound Zero somehow inspired Mewtwo. And that Pokemon RBY in general was influenced by that game.
Also Ninten's sprite looks like Charlie Brown, and that one NPC in Earthbound that looks like he has fleas looks like Pig-Pen.
Also since these games are really old I feel like being interested in things like this and surprised by the abortion theory and everything is making me seem like a slowpoke.

Also, references to the KKK and religious cults, a prostitute-like woman, and then a final boss that is inspired by rape and disfigured breasts? How did this get a K-A rating?!

Maybe that's why they don't rerelease it. But back then, the ESRB ratings were brand new, if they were around at all.

Yeah I've been thinking that might be why. But they can always give it a T rating or something.

I really doubt it would have problems selling now. It'd definitely sell better than a lot of games out on Nintendo systems today. It could be on VC, they don't have to spend very much money or package a guide with it. Or advertise, since now so many people know who Ness and Lucas are.

Donkey Kong on the VC is pretty baller. Why didn't I own this game?
Mario has some of his best moves from that era in this game.

DS/ GBA: All four Advance Wars games, both FFTA games, Tactics Ogres Knights of Lodis, Fire Emblem for the GBA and Sacred Stornes for the GBA. Skip Shadow Dragon. PS2: Phantom Brave, La Pucelle: Tactics, and Sakura Wars: So Long My Love, which is half dating sim, half SRPG. Cube/Wii game: Path of Radiance/ Radiant Dawn

Isn't the story that EB isn't getting a VC release because of copyright issues? Something about how some of the music would have to be changed and NoJ won't allow any changes.

I have several of these, although the only ones I've finished so far are Let Us Cling Together and the first Advance Wars. I'll move the games I have up my priority list (I need a break from endlessly replaying DeSu2 anyway gonk ) and try to track down what I'm missing. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I saw Phantom Brave and La Pucelle around recently and just didn't know what they were. I got Shadow Dragon a while ago and only heard about it being really weird afterwards. sweatdrop
