Yeah, although the price for it is honestly way too high. Same with the other marionette items, which are pretty much all on my list. Sure feels like it'll take forever though just to get one. |

Darkness Dragons Revenge Queen Spazzy I'm a vegetarian.
My beau's mum, as well as a good portion of my family, likes to use lard for baking.
So I'm often blocked out of baked goods like biscuits, cookies, pies, and the like.
Which means I get to stand around and stare at baked things like they're decorations instead of eating them.
My beau's mum made sure to use vegetable shortening so I could eat everything this year, though.
She's so nice~! Oh that first part is sad! But I'm glad that you got to eat the goodies this year! Yah crisco is so much healthier for you-- I use it all the time. Who uses fat? emotion_eyebrow Anyway, if I ever make fudge, you're good to eat my dear Brandy!
Ah, I'm used to not being able to eat stuff by now, haha~
I'm not even allowed to eat sweet potato casserole unless my mum makes it because everyone else puts marshmallows on it. emotion_8c
I know my beau's mum uses lard because she prefers the taste it gives foods over vegetable shortening and it gives a better texture to some things, but as for my family, it's beyond me.
Kinda like why they put bacon grease in EVERYTHING. cat_gonk

And never take me into consideration when they make things because I'm the only one in my entire family with an aversion to animal byproducts.
And it's actually better to use vegetable oils wherever possible; fats that are solid at room temperature are inherently worse for you than those that are liquid.
But I know a lot of things you can't just switch out like that without ruining consistency/texture and whatnot.
SCIENCE IS WEIRD.
I don't understand why companies in America have all these weird chemicals that other countries don't have.
The UK has banned most of them and found much healthier substitutions for them.
I did a big project last year about chemicals that should be banned and it is ridiculous about what some of the stuff they put in sports drinks and candy and stuff. |
