I liked it. That I can remember I've only seen Spirited Away, Howl's Moving castle, and parts of Castle in The Sky and Totoro. Oh and when I was really young Kiki's Delivery service.
I think it's pretty good, considering it's like, the first in the Studio Ghibli film canon. I like it of course, for it's conservation message and hippie dippy animal loving, but I think it's objectively good too. I like how they make what initially seems like an inking ******** to be part of the story. It's there from the beginning, too.

My sister was talking about how she "needs" a tablet, I asked her what for, and she said books and junk.
"Uh, that's what eReaders are for."
Anywho, I'm wandering around playing SoulSilver about an hour after the fact, and he decides to chime in with "And you didn't need a DS, stuff like that is for kids."
Yeah... if you're 15 starting up with the "video games are for kids" bullshit, I'ma have to fix that all nice and quick like.

A tablet is more useful than a 3DS, to be fair. And certainly more useful than an eReader.

Actually, I'd probably like a Kindle just because of the idea of getting textbooks for school at a reasonable price. It has nothing to do with the technology though.
