I'm hoping for IBS. I don't know when IBS became my own best case diagnosis. I juts don't feel very optimistic.

I don't get why it's so selfish of me to ask to see a doctor. I've been asking for a while. We've spent money on so many more absolutely stupid things. Perhaps I have too, but they're also borrowing all of my money right now.

I went amalgam instead of white filings because I could not say no when they borrowed money from me to help cover expenses of their completely optional trip to New York City.

If I had known I would not be able to rely on my parents for medical care I would have started saving money to see a gastroenterologist about 5 years ago. I'd probably have saved just enough by now.

could see if theres a free clinic near you. i wouldn't recommend it though. the word free is in it.

I saw a doctor many moons ago and they recommended me to a GI specialist. I probably need to see a GI specialist. At any rate I'd need to ask for a ride to a free clinic and my parents would probably think I'm trying to shame them for being poor or something.

I'm probably being super pessimistic to think it might be cancer, because I dunno, I figure in 5 years it'd be a lot worse than it's gotten.

That's a pretty shitty way to find out your butt problems aren't colorectal cancer. You know. Not being dead. It feels like, maybe, there was a better, safer way to come to this conclusion.

When I'm down I still get worried.

hell i still wonder how i woulda been if i never got hit in the head with a golf club and have an inch of my skull missing if i woulda aspired to be a great programmer sooner or even be an athlete, maybe have more motivation to do stuff.

I wouldn't call myself poorly motivated, and I wouldn't let me tell myself that I am just that way. It may be the story you tell about yourself that you have to overcome, not the inch of missing bone.

My mom says it's against the law if you see a kid hurt on the street and don't help him/her, but only if it's a minor. It's okay if you don't help a dying adult.

She also says it would be against the law if one of the kids that she constantly dumps in my care without me getting a say got hurt when I wasn't paying attention. I got this big lecture because I didn't freak out when one of the kids had a bleeding nose (nose bleed) and I didn't act like she might be dying. Jesus Christ. I dislike kids more and more every day, and it's because of how shitty adults are about them.

Also I hate when people are like "when you have your own kids" and just assume that I'm having them. NEVER. HAPPENING.

You should lecture your mom back about dumping her responsibilities on other people (i.e. that kid).

Law has gotten kind of twisted in general. Our priorities as people kind of suck.

And you know what else sucks? When people are all gung-ho about getting 3 days a week in, even though I suggested we just take 4th of July off, and then they are at least 20 minutes late for our meetup time. I just went home. I'm not waiting half an hour after the time you're supposed to be here. I haven't gotten a response from the other guy, either. I feel sorry for him, because he's actually on time, and he has to drive like an hour and a half to meet up with us.

The guy I'm supposed to meet with here didn't even have their ******** phone. There's no way I can call them and ask if they're late or hungover or just not coming.
