I got Jedi Outcast too. I used to love that game's multiplayer back when I was playing it on the gamecube. Excited to play it with Wayne and Twenn. Stupid work, they always sleepin' when I get home ):

I tried a little bit of the single player and s**t ********'... took me back. They should make good Star Wars games again.

People don't always recommend games because they're fun. A good horror game probably won't make you think about how fun it is, and Shadow of the Colossus could be a fun game if you ignored the fact that killing the colossi is probably making things worse. I agree that games shouldn't be a chore to play, but a game not being fun isn't necessarily a strike against it.

Older games are important if you want to get an idea of the history and evolution of the medium, but some of those games are pretty much unplayable now. I'd argue that it's worth checking out the games that are considered classics, but if you're not enjoying a game then just drop it and play something else.

I think I'm gonna get a 3DS XL. Mom'll kill me, but I've come around to really liking the design, and big screen makes my d**k rock hard. AND LAUNCHES IN RED i love red

I have now spent 15 on steam sales. It's like... what? Day 3?

It's still day two for all intents and purposes.

But that doesn't seem like much! It's so hard to resist some of these deals.

Both Bioshock games for $10
Both Portal games for $12

Last year I got every GTA game except IV for $7 dollars. That's insane.

15 dollars for 4 games* I've had on my wishlist for a while isn't bad. I think the last thing I'll get will be Dead Space. I'm expecting ti to go in one of these 75% off deals.

*Trine 2
Penumbra: Black Plague
From Dust
Bioshock 2

A lot of NES games do suck, and I hate the mentality that they're perfect because they were so simple. They're simple, yeah, but they still managed to ******** that up. I think that makes it even worse. Don't give me the "they made them hard to last longer" argument, either. Any good designer knows they should make a game that's desirable to replay rather than hard to beat. Length and storage space have never been an issue.

I started tearing into a lot of commonly cited "good" games but gave up when I realized I'd be typing all day.

Wait... what's the point of playing a game if it's not fun? Other than to see what the game is like.

To play a game that isn't fun just to say you did it is a dumb reason. There are much better ways to impress people.

Isn't the point of games to be fun and entertaining?

Also, I don't think people should just completely ignore old games. Like, the NES was an AMAZING system for its time and it's good for people to appreciate that. It just has so few games that you could still recommend to your average game player today, just for fun and not a history lesson.

Should I buy Borderlands for $5?

Seems like a great deal, but I'm not sure what the game is like.
Anyone want to vouch for it?

I knew lots of people who loved it, and I could probably ask one of them, but there's a sequel coming out. Also, I'm pretty sure a big part of the appeal was multiplayer, which will be a little less accessible, because it's old and I personally don't see anyone play it anymore.

So the new Lupin III series is available to watch for free on Funimation.com... from my understanding it's sort of a reboot? BUT YEAH THAT'S PRETTY COOL
