I heard Mirror's Edge causes motion sickness. Wonder if it's as bad as Portal, or as Half-Life 2 when riding that water vehicle. Ugh.

Portal doesn't affect me like that at all. And neither did Mirror's Edge when I played through most of the game at my friend's house. The thing in Half-Life 2 is the only thing that's ever done that to me.

The Eleventh AK Portal doesn't affect me like that at all. And neither did Mirror's Edge when I played through most of the game at my friend's house. The thing in Half-Life 2 is the only thing that's ever done that to me. In my experience, Mirror's Edge is worse. If you play for 4+ hours straight you can get a massive head-rush when you get up and move around. It's true though, Mirror's Edge runs pretty well on mediocre hardware.

On the topic of motion sickness, I kind of get it in The Amazing Spider-Man game.
When you're on the ceiling, the camera is upside-down with you. On the wall? The camera is sideways, too.
It's kind of sickening at times, but not extremely so.

Jaycorn OMFG MY MOTHER 3 STRATEGY GUIDE ARRIVED Haha, I thought the days of paying for strategy guides were over. With OCD nerds working 24/7 to bring free ones to the web, books are mostly for novelty and pretty art nowadays.

Pretty art, and also maps. And I dunno, it's so cool because it was made entirely by fans, not some strategy guide company and it's super detailed and quality. Lovely book.
I played Earthbound while looking at a .pdf of the strategy guide that came with it, and thought it was the most interesting guide ever.
