I've eaten almost 2 plantains worth of tostones. They're not like amazing, but I guess I like them?

They mostly taste like oil, because I guess I fried them too long? Or probably because when you squash them to do the second fry they get a lot of surface area where the oil can just hang on and soak in.

Whoa, those tostones thingies are what I've always dreamed fried plantanos would be like. Did they come out crispy?

Yep!

But all those crispy crevasses kinda held onto oil. Not bad, but I think i had to add more salt on account of all this almost flavorless oil. I'm thinking next time I should season the soak more.

You came here in 2007 with some username that implied you hated sony, then you became Nintendomega a little while after joining because people gave you grief for your admittedly stupid name, and then like... maybe a year after that you became Nomega because that's what people called you?

Jazzy has been around probably about as long as I have, perhaps longer? Since 2006, when she was, I believe, going by the name of Yoshi Kid. Don't quote me on this, the girl is crazy about name changing.

Yeah there were large chunks of time where I didn't get on here at all, and when I was active I still didn't post too much 'cause I wasn't really friends with anyone on here. For the longest time I didn't have a DS or a decent PC either, so I couldn't play games with anyone.

Does anyone remember PAU suits? Everyone was so proud about how they could go in Gaia Towns and draw offensive shapes with their similarly dressed avatars.

Because that's not a 4Chan kind of thing at all.
