Ah, well the OS of a smart phone is sort of a big deal.

An iPhone is great if you have a ton of Apple products, or if you're overwhelmed by technology or can't be bothered with it.
I use Google Music and store only my favorite songs offline. I don't need the extra storage, but it would probably be nice. One day maybe.

Because it determines what the phone can and can't do.

I'm sorry, I just can't see the discussion of "who's got the shinier looking cell-phone OS" as anything other than stupid and meaningless. Honestly, who gives a s**t what the menus on a phone look like. It all does the same s**t.

I think that there are exclusive apps for both platforms that make them more or less desirable. There's also the price point and stuff like durability.

The Eleventh AK I'm sorry, I just can't see the discussion of "who's got the shinier looking cell-phone OS" as anything other than stupid and meaningless. Honestly, who gives a s**t what the menus on a phone look like. It all does the same s**t. It's not just window dressing, and it's not about which one is better. They're both tailored for different people. Claiming they're both identical is not accurate.

good because I didn't
You can phone and text on both. You can send video and picture messages. You can browse the internet. You can look up directions on a map. You can play dumb phone games for babies. What else does anyone need?

You seem awfully resentful of smart-phones. Did something happen, or...?

The fact that you see a post where I list a bunch of cool things about smartphones made from a smartphone as resentful of smartphones leads me to think we've abandoned all logic and frankly I'm not sure I'm comfortable sailing in these strange and eerie waters

Well all I said originally is that I love the latest Android update and you immediately sprung to "OH BOY HERE WE GO iOS VS ANDROID ANYONE?" then preceded to get angry at us for interjecting that just maybe they might not be the same s**t.
This guild is for gamers, no? A crowd that's into electronics? What if I said that the Xbox 360 and the PS3 were the same s**t? You'd probably have an opinion.
I just think it's unfair to berate people for having a preference.
