Hang on, if Trowa is making an Arrancar-type, then the Bleach storyline HAS to go on. That means rogue captain+shining gem+extra strong Vasto Lorde Hollows.

Not necessarily! The Hougyouku isn't the only way for a Menos to become an Arrancar. They can remove the mask on their own! And the Espada existed before Aizen's arrival.
