Also, I'm not sure if this is up to date, but I distinctly remembering Matt liking Vampire weekend.
Maybe he was just being ironic.

The only music I regret being into is Nickelback a long time ago when I didnt know anything and anything from Canada had to be great, and for a while Avenged Sevenfold... They used to seem cool but now they just seem like this weird combination of emo and bro mentality. Other than that my high school taste in music is still awesome B) folk metal bitchez
Although I don't listen to metal nearly as much as I used to (except for Iron Maiden cause they're rad as hell)

Lonely times in Kegan-town.
I think that some people are just looking for a cause to champion. Some people are fighters, but some of those people are not really in it for the cause. They are in it to feel like a champion. And I don't mean a hero, because some people are so self deluded they don't even make themselves out to be fighting for anything at all.
In the absence of anything wrong, I think these people make problems. maybe just in general, or maybe for them selves. Maybe they pick fights to feel more noble, maybe they accuse others of exactly this.
And maybe that's me.
Maybe it's you.
Yeah you, hot shot. Us.
In out wonderful utopian lives, some, out of sight individuals suffer, but when have we ever had to fight for our rights? We sit around thinking about how much our lives suck, and what fights to pick next.
And I think it's easier that way... because the fights that are worth fighting are scary stuff. Mind-erasingly scary. I don't even know where to start. Like literally... What are they?
Is this my fight now? My new distraction?

I wish all Mega Man games had Metal Blades and the best soundtrack on the NES.

The punchline is, that whoever reads that will probably think I'm complaining about them. I didn't really have you in mind.

Trials and troubles that win us no ground are distractions.
Have people always manufactured their own, or is that a modern problem?
Once survival isn't an issue I think most people don't know what to do with themselves.

I'm thinking about getting into mask making.
I think it'd be easy to make slip cast or slab mold masks in between working on thrown pieces. It'd also just probably be fun. And they'd probably sell for a lot more than bowls and plates, if they're nice.

I think it's just because I saw this other artist's tumblr and it's so cool and creative. It's full of carnival style masks.
