I never really got the impression that the Game Grumps laugh more than they genuinely would.
Their delivery is kind of yell-y, but the cult has never exactly been the last bastion of highbrow comedy.
Didn't most of you love the AVGN? It's pretty much the same type of comedy.

150 pages or so until I'm done with The Dark Tower's seventh installment.
The Wind Through the Keyhole is sitting on top of my CRT, by my reading chair, just waiting for me. It's so much thinner than the last few Dark Tower novels.

Do I give a s**t if any of you think WoW and its f*****t panda expansion is gay and stupid? No. I like seeing all the really terrible arguments in defense of the expansion. Like, they already had blood elves so adding furries was apparently the next logical step. No. It's stupid. Technically the pandas have been in warcraft lore since WC3. And actually I think it's a good idea. The last Warcraft expansion had an "everything old is new again" approach. It tried to revamp all the old content, with some moderate success. This? It's all new stuff. And apparently it's well-crafted. The fact that it's pandas is a little silly, I'll admit, but that's kind of incidental.

I was also fourteen when I found AVGN and it was the first thing of its kind that I'd ever seen. Someone playing terrible NES games and complaining about it was and is still funny to me, even if what he says has gotten more stale with the years. I also generally learn something from AVGN videos.

WoW has races of cow men, bear men, goat men, dog men, snake men, bug men, walrus men, monkey men and ******** two kinds of fish men. Panda men fit right in.

JonTron is sorta like AVGN, but it feels less forced to me. Might just be more in line with my own sense of humor, though.

The only funny video game guys I actively like are the Giant Bomb dudes cause they're actual journalists before they are humorists.
