I've been waiting all day for my mom to take the kids' laundry out of the dryer, and I'm sure that tomorrow morning when she gets up early she'll put my stuff in the dryer to cook on the highest heat setting and b***h me out that I'm not moving it along fast enough.
Then she'll ask me to go find her phone in spooky graveyard.

It's not something I take personally per se. It just comes across as really self-absorbed when people post a bunch of s**t and refuse to acknowledge ANYONE ELSE HERE
and it seems really pointless to post in a forum if you have no interest in conversation or the thoughts of others

I don't view forums as a validation and affirmation marketplace.
I open my mouth when I have something to say, which is often, but not about everything. I don't care if people don't care much about the things I post. I post them anyway, because often I don't have much to say about what they post either, and I think it's fine that way.
It's a lot like real life. If you don't give a specific target, and you're not answered, it's not really you being ignored, it's just you not engaging others. It took me a while to learn that probably. I'm not very socially assertive. I probably give about as good as I get though, so it's fair.

What I mean is that socialization i not a barter system. It's organic and natural. I probably would have thought vice versa like 2 years ago when I desperately needed an a** kicking, but I was UN-CORRECT. "A cynic is a man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing." I know I can say whatever, and just say "yeah, uhuh. Yep. Lol xd " to everything, but it's not really input in most cases.
It's like lip service, or in this case finger service. I can't make myself feel one way or the other about things.
I hope you understand that I'm not trying to start something. I'm kinda trying to do the opposite.
