I HAS NO SCHOOL TOMORROW! User Image
And it hasn't even started snowing yet.
User Image

I rely on caffeine to help me manage headaches. Else I'd likely not be staring at my computer right now. >>;
YAYYYY, I SHALL GET TO KEEP YOU TOMORROW~!!
(Okay, I guess I can share... )
Right now I'm actually on a video game high, I'm about to complete a game the fastest I've ever completed any game!
(Though my play time is still clocking in at over twenty hours...)
I still have no clue what I am doing though. User Image

You won't have to share much, Brandy.
I hope you finish your game soon!
What game is it?
User Image

Oh, that's good. As an only child, sharing is totally not my forte. >>;
It's Lunar Legend, a GBA game published back in... 2002, I think?
It's a remake of a game that came out on the Sega CD system (Which might account for the fact that I still have no clue what I am doing...).
It's fun, even though I'm still confused. (I guess it would have to be fun if I've played it for over twenty hours. That or I'm a serious masochist [which, on occasions, is true, considering I spent over an hour wailing on an enemy in XIII-2 because I was SO DETERMINED TO KICK HIS BUTT (and I nearly did, my beau laughed when I lost...) but I was playing as Lightning and I used the excuse that she's sexy and I wanted to stare at her])
ALL THIS WEIRD RANT AND I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD COFFEE YET!
But I'm making coffee now. COFEEEEE. User Image
I'm so close to finishing Lunar Legend, but I got lost on my way to one of the bosses last night and decided I should give up and go to bed.
"Go to bed, self, you're so tired you're drunk."
>>;

Oh my god you have thee greatest gif's xD
I wish I had a PS3 to play big games like Assassins Creed and Skyrim.

The newest console that I actually own is my PS2. (Newest handheld is my first gen PSP)
My beau is the rightful owner of the 360 we share.
(BUT I OWN MOST OF THE GAMES ON IT)
Assassin's Creed isn't all it's cracked up to be, in my opinion.
I only really like the games with Altair as the main character. >>;
(Which means I like the first one and Bloodlines on the PSP)
I have ZERO desire to own a PS3. (All the PS3 specific games are so... meh)
I also have ZERO desire to own a PS4 or US-release Vita. (Or xbox one for that matter; I like my privacy kthx.)
(I'd kill for a Japan-release Vita, though; I have too much money invested in PSP games to want a US-release Vita, which has no PSP functionality.)
Uh, anyway, I'm not sure where I was going with this now...
Probably I was going to suggest an old version 360...? I mean, if you're seriously considering a new-ish console that includes games like the new AC and TES.
It's cheaper, and I'm so in love with the one I share with my beau.
I'm a big fan of bulkier, older version consoles, though (in my experience, they're hardier than slimline/light versions), so that's just me.

I don't want any of the new consoles (they're too expensive for my taste right now)
I've heard about the XBOX, but everyone says to get the PS3 or 4.
The one game console I will never fall out of love with is the Game Cube; man that thing was so ahead of its time.
I nos likes coffee; I likes the smell of it though.

Then "everyone" is absolutely nuts. cat_neutral
An old gen 360 is cheaper and has pretty much all the same games with very few exceptions.
AND you can expand storage because the hard drive isn't permanently mounted and can be easily changed (though transferring data from one hard drive to another requires a little hoop jumping).
You can also switch out the faceplate for something pretty like me and my beau did~ LOLIS!
(Though, officially, I don't think faceplates are being sold in physical stores anymore, not that you can't paint your own, though [I've considered this! But I like my lolis])
I have a very distinct lack of love for the new gen Sony consoles, but this all just my opinion, I s'pose, I know pretty much everybody and their brother are totally gaga over the new gen Sony stuff.
(To them I say PAH.)
I will forever love my PS2 and SNES, though.
The PS2 because it is home for almost ALL my favorite games, and my SNES because it's the best child entertainer to ever exist (and has been with me the longest of all my consoles, it's kinda my baby).
(Also happens to be the only console on which I own multiplayer games. >>; )

And now I'm pissed at the game because the final boss is ******** impossible.
(No, really, I'm not exaggerating, he attacks once and my whole ******** party dies and it takes me HOURS to get my party to level up even ONCE.)

I'm just not super big on videogames, but when I find one I like (Oh! I also like Dishonored), I play it like mad.

You only have to pay for it if you want it, but it's not needed.
You only need it for online multiplayer interactions, but if you do, say, a system link with a friend and multi that way, or have a friend bring over their profile on a flash drive and an extra controller, you don't need a live gold account at all.
I've never had one, I will never have one, it's just not necessary when I only multi with people who are physically present in a room with me. ^^;
I don't generally enjoy browser RPGs, weirdly enough (maybe because most of them want me to sell my soul to play? And I can't agree to those terms, I don't have a soul. 8D), but I love playing ROMs on my computer. (Was how I was playing Lunar Legend. >>; )
I also have serious mahjong obsession. I've put in a surprising amount of time into Mahjong Titans on my laptop. I also play a lot of minesweeper. NO LIFE >>;
In other news, MY BEAU CAME OVER HE BROUGHT THE XBOX AND THE NEW FFXIII I PREORDERED FOR US LET THE VALENTINE'S DAY GAMING MARATHON CELEBRATIONS BEGIN.

No you don't, I've never paid for xbox live. cat_neutral
I hate playing multiplayer, so free or paid, the multiplayer content is worthless to me.
I'd never use it even if it were free, I am a total misanthropist, I can't get on well with others, plus the whole anxiety thing, playing something with strangers makes me panicky.
RPGs are pretty much the only games I play, so I'll have a hard time discussing anything else. >>;
Oh, and puzzle games sometimes, like Catherine.
But I know little about most things outside that tiny spectrum.

I thought you had to pay for xboxlive?
I get the whole "I don't like paying with other people" thing. I'm a bit of a social introvert and I also yell at people when they don't listen to me. cat_sweatdrop
I love puzzle games sooo much. I'm obsessed with mahjong and bejeweled.
I like RPG's when they're in browser, like Adventure Quest.

You only have to pay for it if you want it, but it's not needed.
You only need it for online multiplayer interactions, but if you do, say, a system link with a friend and multi that way, or have a friend bring over their profile on a flash drive and an extra controller, you don't need a live gold account at all.
I've never had one, I will never have one, it's just not necessary when I only multi with people who are physically present in a room with me. ^^;

That's one thing I don't like about the RPG's. Luckily AQ isn't a "gimmy all yer money!" game.
I am not knowledgeable in the ways of xbox so I didn't know about brining characters over.
I don't like minesweeper; I always die!!! emotion_donotwant emotion_0A0

It's fine~
's why I'm 'splainin', so now you know~ cat_whee
I die about 66% of the time in Minesweeper, but it's very mathematically based (PROBABILITIES YAY) which is why I love it.
I'm the kitty, my beau is a fox. >>;
Which sounds like it shouldn't work, but somehow it does for us.
