Meta_Fish Trenn Flashkill So badass. It's been over a decade since I played pokemon tcg, but it's such an easy game, I got back in it very quick. We should have some games together. Fuuuuuuuuck, that IS cool but I really can't play the TCG with another person. I always get nothing but energies or everything but energies, no matter how I balance any given deck. I've lost matches in less than 30 seconds because I'd draw only 1 basic pokemon. s**t like that seems to happen a bunch.

I had KH2 but got rid of it when I could not beat this one boss for the life of me, then one time switched something in the menu (like equipped something or whatever) and suddenly it was totally doable. I just don't like that s**t.

F that s**t. Complicated menu stuff belongs in turn-based RPGs, or at least ones that aren't so dependent on your ability to fight a boss as you would in any normal action game. It just doesn't feel like it belongs so well in KH. Also having to like select spells from the menu while you're in the middle of an intense fight is annoying.

Jaycorn I thought KH:CoM was really great until Marluxia. crying It makes me wish it was all skill-based and you didn't have to come into battle with the perfect deck and set of abilities equipped and s**t. Just be an action game. Building an executing a deck masterfully is sorta a skill. Marluxia made me have to stop and think, and actually learn the system, which was crazy. Build a balanced deck with good cards to beat the last boss of a story WHAT?

Also I think I grinded until like ******** level 80 because I thought it was necessary

Switch your equipment around when you aren't fighting a boss? I generally just equip the better armor in games right when I get it since a lot of games won't let you swap equipment mid-battle. I've only played a little of KH so I can't comment on the spell system. Does it pause the fight when you open the menu?

I've lost matches in less than 30 seconds because I'd draw only 1 basic pokemon. s**t like that seems to happen a bunch. i tried this before, it seemed like it was player vs. NPC only. and there were limited cards you could choose from... oh how i'd love to build my classic deck. or you know. a fully custom one wiht my own personal strategy hmm you download this one. certainly different than the previous one i tried.

I'd end up just taking all trainer cards out because I would never get what I needed, or putting ones in that only helped me get basic Pokemon/energies.
