I must be a serious masochist... Wonder if Sammy knows about this puzzle place... o.o; It has loads of nonograms/picross puzzles and sudoku and word searches and stuff.
If she's into that kinda stuff, send her over here!

They're visual logic puzzles, the rules differ slightly between puzzles, but the basics are that each number represents a group of consecutive colored blocks and they're listed in the correct order horizontally and vertically; number of the same color listed consecutively always have at least one block of the background color between them, different colors listed consecutively don't have to have a separating block (though they can), you use logic to figure out where the groups go.
Might be easier to check out their rules, though.
(Griddlers and triddlers operate on the same premise, but have slightly differing ways of solving)
You might want to start here; these are the easiest puzzles on the site and will help you get the hang of things. Then you can move up to one of the other groups here.
Or you can check out the number logic puzzles or wordsearches.
(Wordsearches are self explanatory I think, each of the different number logic puzzle types has their own rules; just click into one of them and scroll to the bottom if you're not sure how to play. c: )

I really cut it close last night; I was up until 11 (partially because that's the latest my parents will let me stay up on a school night and I had HSPA the next morning)
And now, I have written an essay in 60 mins. last monday, two during this week for HSPA, and one for english (which I have to rewrite four more times because it's an editing process) and a history test tomorrow.
