Sonic Team should stop trying to please both classic and modern Sonic fans at once. They should either make a brand-new game with Genesis-style aesthetics, old characters and brand-new levels and bosses, OR a brand-new game like Sonic Adventure, without any retarded flaws/glitches. I really liked the overworld aspect, and they were on the right track in including that in '06, but that game just has way too many problems to be considered anything more than incomplete.

They need to not add stupid new characters, too. No human princesses, Big the Cats, or Silvers. Characters like Chaos, Tikal and E102 Gamma fit in with what was already there, so I like them. I did like Rouge and Shadow but looking back, I think that was only because I was a dumb kid. EVERYONE likes characters like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Eggman, Metal Sonic and (probably) Amy. They don't need much more, or much less. We should be allowed to play as more than just Sonic, like we were in the Sonic Adventure games. They allow for much more variety in the gameplay than just having Sonic. Speaking of which, they need people to test it and make sure the gameplay doesn't suck balls like werewolf s**t probably does and like fishing did.

Jun Senoue and whoever else did SA's soundtrack need to come back, for like ever. They were practically gods, I've been listening to the whole thing and every single song is either good or awesome.
