I didn't really get anything I wanted except for Cloud Atlas (the book) and a pretty nice hoody I pointed out in a store and saw my dad buy for me. Pretty much the only thing I asked for at all was that Bond 50 collection. It almost feels like my family goes out of their way to not get me what I ask for.
I can't really complain though, because the stuff I got was pretty nice. And the honest truth is what I love about Christmas isn't getting s**t, but spending time with family. I guess I'm lucky in that I have a family I can be fond of even when they can be crazy and make me feel shitty... *shrug*
Either way, I love Christmas. It gives me the fuzzies.

I tried making my PS3 controller work using some emulation software and after a bunch of hassle it did, but it forgot all of my settings and hard work when I reset my computer so I don't think it's worth it. You don't have to do anything for the 360 controller, it just works automatically.
And the buttons correspond with the buttons on the screen.

Me neither. Some people seem to get it working (damn you Xilo), but a lot of people express nothing but frustration from that s**t software. I wish Sony would officially support a pc driver. Out of curiosity, did you get a wireless controller with the wireless adapter or just a straight up wired controller? I don't remember if you said.

wired is the way to go. no charging necessary.
the real trick to that software is to get the right drivers installed. which most of the time is anyones guess. after that its just setting the settings right and making sure everything is reading right. game to game it took me some adjusting. i still cant get the Z axis (the pressure on the triggers) to sense correctly, but i can push em down and they work atleast.

Well, composition wise, pokemon probably had the advantage over a lot of the competition back in the GB era.
Nut it's probably easier for us to listen to it and not be like "Oh 'beep boop' yes I get it. *close window*" because we were enthralled by the games as children.
I overheated my SNES playing pokemon blue on the GB player.

Yeah there's normally only like a couple songs that stand out from each Game Boy game, but with Pokemon I could start humming a LOT right now.
Also it's TOO COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good jorb. The wireless adapter Microsoft sells is horribly engineered and is guaranteed to short itself out. Terribly unreliable.
