Meta_Fish Pokemon fans: WE WANT 3D GOD DAMMIT ENOUGH OF THIS PIXEL f*****t SHITSAUCE Nintendo: okay here's a 3d game using 3d models from pokedex pro with cel-shading and a fully 3d world for the first time you're also taller than 10 pixels for the first time, try over 100 pixels Pokemon fans: NOT ******** 3D ENOUGH f*****t It looks fine (I think). Regardless of how it looks, Pokemon fans are going to buy it anyway. I'd like to see them include a strategy guide like they did with Ruby/Sapphire, it's only fair after all Ruby and Sapphire were the transition to Advance and now X and Y are the transition to 3D.

Your logic makes so little sense. Then why not a strategy guide with Diamond/Pearl? Or Gold and Silver? Why would we need a strategy guide? That was a promotional event that only lasted so long, etc, etc.

I don't remember R/S coming with a strategy guide. o.o Those are pretty much obsolete now anyway.

"Fine" isn't that much of an impressive word though, is it? Neither is the statement, "It looks better than a DS game." What I'm saying isn't some scathing bashing (even though you know I would love to). It's not even nitpicky. It's a perfectly valid criticism. It's half the game.

I bought a strategy guide for RS separately which was written by Nintendo Power, I think. Brought it to school and camping and stuff. Good memories. ^^

Come to think of it, I've owned a strategy guide for RB, GS, RS and FRLG. Maybe it became especially obsolete around the time DP came out. Each game has like more than one volume now anyway because there are too many Pokemon.

I know we've been over this, Fish, but I wasn't trying to get you to concede or agree with me. I was just expressing my thoughts on the game. But since you want to end it, I'll concede to something too:
Being real, and not objectively judging the game like a robot, I'd probably get used to how it all looked if I were to buy it and play it. I don't think I'd ever gush about the graphics, though.

That was a promotional event that only lasted so long, etc, etc. Ruby and Sapphire were the first games to actually hit the big time new look on handhelds, full color, animations, natures, etc. etc. Diamond and Pearl were dissatisfying and Heart and Gold got a Pokewalker plus the strategy guides were an awesome help in catching all but 2 Pokemon for me, deciphering the walls, etc. etc. I want the god damned strategy guide Fish, I WANT IT.

The Game Boy Color is technically a new handheld when compared to the Game Boy, too! And they only did that one time, what about the DS, too? Just buy a strat guide or use GameFAQs, bro.

Well yeah, the series grew with the systems but this is 3D man, this is it. Honestly, I'm not sure where they're going to go now that they've hit 3D on handhelds and HD on consoles, what more is there? Holographic displays? The strategy guide was probably the most useful thing they ever included with any of the Pokemon games.
