Zephyrkitty It's pretty close. Grass/Bug gives you four weaknesses and two double weaknesses, while Grass/Psychic gives you six weaknesses and one double weakness. Both are terrible, though. I think you miscalculated somewhere along the way. Grass/Bug are 4x weak to Fire, flying, ice and I'd think bug too based on Serebii's chart but that's too confusing to follow. I just know Leavanny was awesome up until I got to about lvl 30 then almost everything seemed to annihilate him.

some of the dual types with lots of weaknesses learn some really good stuff though, and can be really powerful if trained right, i stay away from em though usually dont like em and with the dual types i do pick, i can get a move for each of their types, and a couple to help counter the types they are weak against.
for example, the current team i'm making (and is nearly done) is:
Metagross Heracross Elektross (i think his name is. its the final form of the electric eel thing.) Snorlax (not really blue at all but hes the only non water from first gen i could actually use) Golurk and one from D/P but i forgot who and cant seem to find him.
most of the duals i picked can either be covered by someone else, or can cover themselves quite well.
for example.
Metagross vs. Volcarona even levels, even amount of training...
who would you say wins?
my metagross came out on top despite his disadvantage type wise cause he had a rock move on him, bug+fire= dual weakness to rock. and i was lowering its speed cause it was rock tomb. so me slowly working to go first in every round after led to an advantage despite the move not being of my metagross's type. and with how he was trained he had higher special defense (most powerful fire moves are the special attack type.) so he was able to withstand 3 powerful strikes and in the 4th round, take down his opponent.
dual types do have their places but when not used in combat right, it can be an easy win against you.

Bulbapedia and Serebii both say that bug only takes normal damage from Ice and Bug attacks, so those would just be normal weaknesses on a Bug/Grass. Ah. I have White, so I never raised a Leavanny. I like Parasect enough that I'd like to try raising one sometime, but between all of those weaknesses and dry skin I don't see it surviving for too long.

Then I'm probably wrong. We could trade sometime if you want? I'll give you my old Leavanny. I believe it's male but don't call him gay, he just likes his fashion.

My male Gardevoir would have a friend! That could be fun. I'd have to figure out my wi-fi first, though.

all pokerus does is act like a macho brace. if you know anything about EV's its useful. i could ahve a pokemon to max EV's using vitamins and minimalist training and he'd only be level 25 or so at the max.

The guild seems much more active with Deathgod of Legend around. He should not leave.
