Darkness Dragons Revenge Queen Spazzy How to tell your pets are spoiled: They steal your chair and you sit in the floor. At least they don't sit on your laptop. Put a box near whatever they sit. Boxes are cat magnets. Dogs. I'm not allowed to have another cat at home since Frankie got put down. We have two basset hounds, a dalmatian boxer mix, and a bloodhound saint bernard mix (she's our newest rescue). They all think they're lap dogs and the male basset thinks my chair is his.

Queen Spazzy Darkness Dragons Revenge Doing a nail strengthening thing: dip nails in warm gelatin mix for 2 mins. I hope this works. My nails are literally as thin as paper. You could also try olive oil, milk, or honey. Or a mix, I've heard mixing the three is pretty much a cure all. I need to try olive oil because my nails peel, but it's expensive... I used to obsessively read a lot of nail blogs, I know a lot of random stuff. >>; Oooo thanks for the advice! I hope you can get some olive oil. I know a lot of random stuff, too :3

I'm not much of a dog person, but I've never had a point in my life where I've not had one. Of course, until Frankie died, I'd never lived without a cat, either. I still have cats, but they live with my beau and his parents; my mom, despite being the only person in my entire family to like cats, is far more of a dog person and doesn't want another, plus one of our dogs isn't exactly cat-friendly and I doubt I'd be able to find another so tolerant as Frankie was (he'd just lay around and let the dog chew on him as long as she didn't hurt him, and he was GREAT with kids). Someone offered a cat to me still, though. >>; I wish I could have taken it, the woman that owns it said the cat is getting a little beyond her ability to care for it, but more than one person would want my head on a platter if I took it. I really like big, lazy dogs, so our newest is easily my favorite. I love our bassets too, and the dalmatian mix is good at cuddling, but she's super high strung which means she'd REALLY do better somewhere with space for her to run as opposed to in a trailer park. Having a playmate for her has helped a lot, though.

My fiancee (we own two cats already and both currently still live with our parents (a few more than two, actually, but they won't move with us because they're outdoor cats)), my mother (taking care of four dogs is almost beyond our means, adding a cat wouldn't help), and possibly my beau's parents (if it didn't live with me, it would live with them with the rest of my kitties). The male basset, Droopy, will almost undoubtedly come with me when I eventually move out, provided he's still alive and kicking; he's more mine than my mom's anymore. I like dogs, I just prefer cats, dogs are really needy and that scares me, I don't like anything depending on me, cats are pretty much their own individual, humans are just a commodity. Almost all of the animals I've ever had were technically rescues (most either from the pound or would have ended up in the pound or run feral had we not taken them).

Same with me; I'm more a cat person than dog, but I still like dogs. Will any of the kittens come with you and your beau? Lol, I love the name, Droopy. I can understand the nervousness of something depending on you. Yah, all the cats I've owned have been rescues. I like the thought of saving a life. If I were ever to get anything-- dog, cat, bird (not getting a bird), and it had a sibling with it, I would have to take both. No discussion. I could never tear it away like that.

We have a set of twins, Kiiro (a.k.a. Loki (and, depending on who you ask, King Asscat), he has short hair) and Shima (a.k.a. Thor, long hair) that will definitely move with us (An old photo, they're loads bigger now, they wouldn't both fit in that chair together anymore without one laying over the other). I have another cat that lives with my beau's parents whose name is Neko (This is young Neko, he's a lot more pudge now) who won't come with us, he never adapted well to being an indoor cat and they're the only people with the land and location to accommodate outdoor cats. My beau has a cat that will stay with his parents too, her name is Kabe (like from Okami), she is an outside cat and doesn't travel well. (Trying to pick that cat up is like wrestling death.) I don't see any point in paying for a kitten when I can give a rescue a better life it deserves, and they're generally smarter and have better temperaments anyway. I'd definitely never be able to separate siblings. I know my twins could never handle being separated, they depend on each other a lot, plus it's easier to transition pets in if they have something familiar with them and keeps them from getting lonely.

Oh, Kabe is such a cute name! <3 And I love how you call them Thor and Loki And I like getting rescue pets because they know you saved them and they're sooo friendly and let you snuggle them. I need a snuggle kitty <3 Aww, thank you! They're my babies, I love them all so much, they help me out a lot emotionally and mentally, I depend on them a lot. Kabe is a super fluffy calico and well deserves her name, she's fierce when she wants to be. It's funny, though, she puts on, like, two pounds of just fur every winter. She's super pretty though, and she knows it. She's the grandmother of the twins, Shima gets his coat (and attitude; so arrogant!) from her. Officially their names are Kiiro Loki and Shima Thor and they take my beau's last name. They get their second names from how they act. They had already been given and gotten used to their first names when we brought them into an apartment with us and realized they were feline personifications of Loki and Thor, haha~ (Shima is a closet asshat and likes to frame his brother, Kiiro doesn't bother hiding it and is a master of trickery.) I wish you could have met Frankie! He was the biggest snuggle cat to ever exist and defied most cat logic by being very attached to me. I left him with my mum when I had gone away to college and he would pitch a fit every time I left and he'd always be waiting beside the door when I came home. I could never give my mum a surprise visit because of that, he always knew when I was coming home. He was always attached to my hip when I was at home. In other news, finally trimmed up my hair! Took off half an inch or something. Original plan was to make my beau help me, but I couldn't wait for him to come back again so I had my mum cut the back. When it's longer I'll be able to just do it all myself, but I can't see the back of my hair at its current length, eheh. ^^; She was so worried about screwing it up, it was amusing, I'm just like "Seriously, mom? I have curly hair. Even if you do something wrong, no one will ever know."

Her curls are sooooo tight, they look like tangled Slinkys! D'awww, that is so sweet! Kabe is also the mama to Neko; the twins love their Unca Neko. Kabe isn't their oldest, though. They have a black cat named Salem and a big, fat, torty tabby called Bee that are both older. I've never really tried, but you know cats, they only respond when they want anyway. cat_xd I use shampoos and conditioners to help me manage my ends because my hair damages so easily. Right now I'm using Ion Moisture Solutions (which has, surprisingly, not leeched the color from my hair as quickly as I expected, so I'll advocate it for dyehards!) which I got from Sally's, it smells like orange dreamsicles, it's amazing; before that I was using an all natural, sulfate free shampoo and conditioner of a brand called Nature's Gate or something that was formulated to protect colored hair and protect hair from damage; and before THAT I used Tresemme's breakage protection line, but it doesn't play nice with unnatural dye colors and most reds, so I've had to stop using it. They all work pretty well, though. All of my hair is about the same length now (I had more damage in front than in back, so I took more off there), it hasn't grown much, really, still only falls a few inches over my shoulders when wet, just past the top when dry. Curly hair is kinda problematic, it feels really heavy (even though I have extremely fine hair) and it's impossible to manage. Mine doesn't curl up tightly, it usually looks more wavy, but I still get loose spiral curls. Until I step out the door when there's any humidity in a hundred mile radius and then my hair floofs like mad. It's even worse if I try to blowdry it, I can give a new definition to the phrase "big hair" then.

Darkness Dragons Revenge Queen Spazzy EMBROIDERING ON AMIGURUMI MAKES ME RAGE. That is all. Watchya making? classified_jet Trying to finish up a TARDIS I've had laying around nearly done for ages. Text along the top? PAIN IN THE BUM. Windows? PAIN IN THE BUM. Patterns on the doors and sides? GONNA BE A PAIN IN THE BUM (though less than the other two). And FORGET putting the little notice on the door. My fingers hurt enough from the text. There was obviously a reason my beau's plush TARDIS wasn't very detailed. >>; I'm going to see if I can track down the rest of my supplies when I finish this to start one the ewok plush for the beau's little cousin. With any luck, that shouldn't take too long, it'll be the... third I've made? They get easier every time! Well, that's assuming I have enough yarn for another, that is, I'm not sure how much I had left in the skein and I can't start with one and switch to another because the dye lots would be different and colors would vary slightly. >>;
