D'awww, that is so sweet!
Kabe is also the mama to Neko; the twins love their Unca Neko.
Kabe isn't their oldest, though. They have a black cat named Salem and a big, fat, torty tabby called Bee that are both older.
I've never really tried, but you know cats, they only respond when they want anyway. cat_xd
I use shampoos and conditioners to help me manage my ends because my hair damages so easily.
Right now I'm using Ion Moisture Solutions (which has, surprisingly, not leeched the color from my hair as quickly as I expected, so I'll advocate it for dyehards!) which I got from Sally's, it smells like orange dreamsicles, it's amazing; before that I was using an all natural, sulfate free shampoo and conditioner of a brand called Nature's Gate or something that was formulated to protect colored hair and protect hair from damage; and before THAT I used Tresemme's breakage protection line, but it doesn't play nice with unnatural dye colors and most reds, so I've had to stop using it. They all work pretty well, though.
All of my hair is about the same length now (I had more damage in front than in back, so I took more off there), it hasn't grown much, really, still only falls a few inches over my shoulders when wet, just past the top when dry.
Curly hair is kinda problematic, it feels really heavy (even though I have extremely fine hair) and it's impossible to manage. Mine doesn't curl up tightly, it usually looks more wavy, but I still get loose spiral curls. Until I step out the door when there's any humidity in a hundred mile radius and then my hair floofs like mad. It's even worse if I try to blowdry it, I can give a new definition to the phrase "big hair" then.
'

Lol I had a black cat and she was a little thing!
All the cats we've ever adopted were itty bitty things. Except Emma and Buddy. They're fat.
And I try to use shampoos and stuff that help the split ends, but they don't always do their best.
I try to use sulfate free because I know what they do to your hair. Ugh!
I use Panteen right now. I have to switch shampoos and conditioners every now and then because my hair gets used to them and it just doesn't do what it's supposed to.
I think the reason I get headaches is my hair, but like yours, it's fine. My hair is straight as a blade, and whenever I braid it, I get such a killer migraine.
HAHA! I never blow dry my hair, always get awful results!
And humidity f*cks with my hair. But then again it's always frizzy so, yah.

Trying to finish up a TARDIS I've had laying around nearly done for ages.
Text along the top? PAIN IN THE BUM.
Windows? PAIN IN THE BUM.
Patterns on the doors and sides? GONNA BE A PAIN IN THE BUM (though less than the other two).
And FORGET putting the little notice on the door. My fingers hurt enough from the text.
There was obviously a reason my beau's plush TARDIS wasn't very detailed. >>;
I'm going to see if I can track down the rest of my supplies when I finish this to start one the ewok plush for the beau's little cousin.
With any luck, that shouldn't take too long, it'll be the... third I've made? They get easier every time!
Well, that's assuming I have enough yarn for another, that is, I'm not sure how much I had left in the skein and I can't start with one and switch to another because the dye lots would be different and colors would vary slightly. >>;

OOOOO TARDIS!
Let me see it when it's done, kay?
I can imagine the itsy bitsy text being very hard to do.
Is putting the text and making it legible on there even remotely possible?
Lol!
Third? How many does this kid lose?
And I totally get the irritating ever so slight differentiating colors in the fabric. That would drive me mad!

I'll see what I can do about a suitable picture.
Hopefully my phone will do the trick, or I'll have to steal my mum's camera.
I've actually managed to get the top text halfway legible.
Took a lot of work, and stabbed my fingers several times (blunt yarn and embroidery needles hurt worse than sharps!) but I managed it, I'm putting off the next bits on the side for a while, my fingers hurt. cat_xd And I'm not entirely sure where my skein of black ended up. >>;
This is only the second for the kid, his last one was lost in the fire that took his home; he asked me specifically if I could make another.
The other one was sent down to a friend in NC that liked the first one I made.
I'm really careful about dye lots and stuff, especially if the item is for another person; it's really unprofessional, I feel, to have slightly varying shades.

All of the cats I've ever owned were humongous things.
I've come to the conclusion that my decision to take a cat automatically means it will be large; the cats that live at my beau's house that are mine are the biggest cats there, easily three times bigger than their mothers and siblings.
To be honest, I don't wash my hair very often; twice a week or so? Shampoo strips your hair of its protective natural oils, so washing it more than every other day can cause damage.
Braiding or putting your hair up will cause headaches because it puts the full weight of your hair at a single point instead of being distributed across your entire scalp; I can't put my hair up without getting headaches.
I only blow dry it when I'm dying it, the heat causes damage, and it takes too long to dry all of my hair anyway.
My hair is also always frizzy; you've seen the few pictures I've let filter through to the web. >>;

Lol big kittens.
I wash my hair about every two days because I know how much damage it can do.
I'm surprised that I've found someone else with the hair-tying-up problem.
And I have a lot of hair and it does take forever to dry.
I've actually been meaning to look for pics of you in the guild.

I've tried to sew text before and it went pretty alright.
And how do blunt needles hurt? I can hardly imagine the pain with them.
And he sounds sweet. And so are you for making him another one.
I agree with the varying color things; it just irks me. Everything has to be consistent.
I want my mum to knit me, or teach me how to knit, a Hufflepuff scarf, and I want just the right shade of yellow.

My hair is happy after the trim, it was super easy to brush this morning!
I know a few other people who have trouble with putting their hair up, mostly the women in my beau's family, they all keep their hair short because of it.
Even though my hair is fairly short, it takes ages to dry, so frustrating. If you run a brush or wide tooth comb through it every so often after a shower, though, it's supposed to help it dry faster.
And there are pics... around. Not many, but they're around, mostly over in the photo album. >>; I don't like taking pictures. And there won't be anything newer than about a year old or so? And I don't intend to take any anytime soon. I have serious roots right now and can't afford to fix it. >>;

It's easier to embroider text on, like, aida fabric and linen, but it's insanely hard to embroider ANYTHING on amigurumi because it has to be done really tightly and that makes it near impossible to get a blunt needle through anywhere but between stitches, it's even insanely hard to get a SHARP through the middle of a stitch.
Blunt needles leave awful bruises if you slip with them and stab yourself, and if you stab your fingers, that makes everything you do afterward hurt even more, it sucks, but all yarn needles are blunt and so are most embroidery needles (though I DO have a set of embroidering sharps, thank goodness, not that it helps when I'm embroidering with yarn. ^^; ).
I am occasionally more of a good person than an asshat. Occasionally. >>;
I'm OCD, so consistency is an absolute must. If I think something is even slightly off, I will start all over again.
Maybe I will make something for you someday. o3o

Well shoot, once again I'm stuck with writer's block. I've been trying to continue working on one of the current chapters of my Legend of Zelda and Sailor Moon crossover story, but I'm mostly stuck. This really stinks. -_-*

I know it works for some people, and it helps me if I get frustrated with something like a drawing.

I'm doing good. Just reading a few threads in the forums mostly. Sure wish people wouldn't keep trying to sell some items for over 100 million gold these days. It's hard enough to try and save up for 'em no matter how long you do so the normal way.
