I want both pretty badly.
I want ALL THE GAMES.
Also, last night I had a dream where my first dog was just sitting in my current room, and I came up and scratched him behind the ears, and said something like "So, I guess you'll be gone once I take my eyes off you, then?" and of course he wasn't there when I came back.

Just got Fire Emblem: Awakening. It's the first one I'm actually sitting down and playing. It feels like I'm starting FF Tactics for the first time. I'm lost in all the mechanics, but I love it so far.

I could FEEL the slightly matted curls around his ears. I thought if I could feel it it wouldn't be a dream sad Stupid dream logic. The thing about dreams is that sometimes you can think logically and sometimes you are bound to think whatever moves the dream on. There's probably something deep and existential to be said about having your thoughts dictated to you by a narrative of your own mind's creation.

Look what I found when scouring my photobucket for pictures of my dead dog! Not quite up to my standards these days, but I like the idea.

If it's the first time you've played, how do you have a feeling for what is and isn't Fire Emblem?

[Kegan] If it's the first time you've played, how do you have a feeling for what is and isn't Fire Emblem? The mode is called "classic." Plus, the internet. I_love_Inuyasha1 Fair enough! I just play to have fun, and if I had to reset each time someone died, it'd just be frustrating. Yea, I understand that sentiment. I just figured since I enjoyed XCOM with all that permadeath, I should go through FE with permadeath too. The game doesn't waste time making you s**t yourself either.

Resetting is tedious is hell. In the GBA one, I just continued without dead people and in the end all my axe wielders were gone, so I just gave up. -_-
