The inner sanctuary was just a door, and a stone path leading back out. Duriono was in chains with his hat covering his face "Turn around... leave or.. I'll have to.....Kill you!" his voice turned demonic near the end of the sentence.

June held her breath
"D-D-Duri..." She whispered, taking another step forward.

Duri lunged forward, being pulled back by the chains "Its Duriono to scum like you!" he showed his blood ridden face, as the chains began to rattle.

June stopped walking, trying to repress tears. She frowned, her heart sinking
"...What happened to you...?"

Duriono didn't respond, he began to growl as a detailess figure rose up infront of him with a black and white body holding the chains, "This dog disobeyed.. and this is his punishment!" it cackled tugging on the chains forcing blood to squeeze out "Now leave or I'll force him to murder you!"

June's eyes widened for a moment in shock
"n-no! I'm not leaving without Duriono!" she yelled

"Fine, you asked for it!" The figure let go of the chains and they let Duriono loose, the chains moved behind June: blocking escape. Duriono pulled out his scythe, he extended it as he smashed the handle into the ground. "Ready to die!?" He roared.

June cringed a little, spreading her arm out to the side as a long sword formed in her hand. Her clothing changed to silver armor

Duriono dashed forward, his scythe began to glow black as it split into three heads, he swung it above his head and as it built up speed he struk when June was in range.

June raised her sword, blocking the blades. Falling to he knees from the force, she jumped back quickly when she saw her sword cracking
"damnit.." June looked down at the gash on her leg from one of the heads
"..."

Duri tossed aside his scythe and pulled out his broadsword. He pointed it at June's neck. Not saying anything. "Foolish angel! You have no chance of beating a gatekeeper in his sanctuary! Now die! Kill her!" Duriono pulled the blade up and gripped the hilt with both hands, before falling to his knees "June... Kill me."

June twitched a little, frowning
"...I asked you not to tempt me...." she whispered. Wiping a tear from her cheek, June leaned forward and wrapped her arms around Duri gently. Her armor changed into a white gown, her white wings sprouting from her back and draping over them.
"...I don't know what else to do...." June kissed Duri's forehead before closing her eyes and pressing a feather to Duri's shoulder-a similar feather to the one she used on Kagura to revert her to her human form.

Duriono held his head, screaming in pain he gripped his head and rolled back, pulling out his guns, "Whats this? You tried to purify the gatekeeper here? In an attempt for both of you to escape alive!?" The figure reappeared and began to play puppetier, "Kill her!" He roared and Duriono roared in unison, he slammed his hands into the ground: a sign that he was about to summon the gate's power.
