Luigi's Mansion is the best Mario Franchise game since Super Mario Sunshine
No love for Galaxy and 3D Land? I'm loving Dark Moon as well, but I guess there are a lot of people out there that are very disappointed?
Do they remember how short and small in scope the first game was? I'm only on the second mansion in this one and I'm already impressed.
The Hejibits guy was nitpicking the animations on his Tumblr. Whatever. Dark Moon destroys the first game in every aspect except maybe a small few. It has more content, it explored the vacuum mechanics a lot better, and it doesn't have that dumb elemental gimmick (as far as I've seen). The bosses, while not as creatively designed as the first game's, are WAY more varied mechanically. Anyone who thinks the first game is better must have REALLY nostalgic memories of that one and a half hours of actual gameplay the first game offered, as well as the two hours of painful boo hunting that followed.
I'm really passionate about this for some reason, but Dark Moon is just better. There's a few things the first game might do better, but that's compared to a land slide of things Dark Moon wins on. Online multiplayer with unique ghosts and randomly generated levels? It's ridiculous.
