Can you guys please watch this and appreciate how primitively beautiful it is Like if an alien from another planet like giegue lolol came and asked you to explain the concept of love to it, but you could only communicate through the visuals and music of a famicom, this would be how you would do it. I just think it's so nice how the system can express this emotion through such simple methods. It's so sweet crying

I especially like how the videomaker just didn't advance from that dialog box.

I just queued a post for April 20th, 2014. If I die of -say- melting in the next year... It would seem really eerie. I'd appear to be back from the dead. On Easter no less. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-SZYZLfZ7EIt's an old video, but I forgot to post it on Easter. My first on tumblr. Now I've got it all queued for next year.

The first episode of Devil Survivor 2 is up on Crunchyroll. I have a couple of two-day passes if anyone wants to watch the first episode but doesn't want to wait. Otherwise CR's policy is that episodes are subscribers-only the first week and available for free for everyone after that, so come back next Thursday.

I had a dream last night where a bunch of little twisters were dancing around in the sky. They made it windy, but were in general harmless. The noise was pretty immense, though. It was a low pitch hum. Not like the train sound I've been told about.
The weird thing is that I didn't even remember the dream until hours after waking up. I don't think it's one I woke up in the middle of. It was just a memory from deep sleep that resurfaced when I was watching the weather channel.
Does anyone else ever get that?

So I just found out that there's an iTunes store app called Sonic Dash, which is Temple Runesque and "free", but supported by micro transactions
This is really upsetting to me. Sonic really did manage to sink even lower. crying This is ******** SONIC, people. SONIC 2 AND SONIC 3 & KNUCKLES. And now he is a ******** shitty generic iPhone app ARGH
I do not like the new Sonic, okay. I thought he was AWESOME when awesome games like SA came out but I do not like this new thing with the boosting and the red rings and the lame-a** music compared to awesome Jun Senoue rawk I HATE!!!!!!!!!!!! And plus, one of the kings of gaming is now crossing over to the casual phone game side? Like those are fine and fun sometimes but in no way are they a substitute for quality console games.
@Kegan: Yes.

I used to think that tobey macguire and jake Gyllenhal looked very similarly, but now that I have made a comparison I find that I was wrong.

Hey Ryan. I can't believe that the biggest plothole of that creepypasta you linked me didn't occur to me for like an hour.
How did that guy write the post if he became a monster?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaWl2lA7968I have a foggy memory of laying in bed as a little baby and listening to and appreciating this song as it played from a tape player that was placed to the right of my bed. Earliest music-related memory. I don't know why I'm posting this here... just that's it's weird to be like oh hey, I was a baby once and I'm the same human being as I always was and this is the same world as it was in the early 90s

I got Catherine pretty recently and started playing through it. I'm midway through night 6 right now. This game is built around Vincent's agonizing conflict of whether to remain in a relationship with a woman who is perfect, or start a relationship with a woman who is not. I'm not seeing why this is such a difficult decision; this game should have been finished on day 1.
(Before anyone says anything, I realize that Vincent has a personality that is not mine and where his worries are coming from. Catherine is still a super-questionable choice since she's possibly breaking into his apartment and having sex with someone who's drunk is rape, but I also get what both women represent and why he's having trouble deciding on either. It still causes a massive disconnect for me as a player, though.)
Aside from that, I'm really enjoying the game. The game does do a pretty good job with Vincent's friends and you get attached to them even when they have moments of stupidity. I'm definitely wanting to know what's up with the crazy block puzzle nightmares (even if they are super-fun), and even if there weren't multiple endings I'd probably replay it to get gold on all of the levels. I don't like Rapunzel's set up as much (it works better with blocks periodically falling than a move limit), but it's fine as a minigame and it's good practice for the nightmare stages.
Also MegaTen music in the jukebox. heart After I finish the game once I'll have to look up a list of songs and how to unlock them.
