also went with the rich guy ordinance so if you got valuable s**t to sell my towns the place to do it, i only ask for like, 10% of that 20% boost (2%?) to go to a funded project. usually not much but it helps xP. some of my irl friends do it.


also. GOLD SLINGSHOT GET! i got it like the present after next from my silver one. so i gots a golden tool thats utterly pointless unless more can drop from the sky than balloon furniture.

I got my golden slingshot like ten minutes after my silver. They are all equally useless, since balloons suck.

Also, who wants Katie in their town? Somehow I have her 2 days in a row.

I've been thinking of preordering FFXIV: ARR (The reworking of the disastrously unpopular second MMO)

I've got my reasons for being not totally disinterested in it, and they may be that the beta test was alright. I can even get behind spending some subscrition fee money on it because I feel like I could pretty easily blow through the main storyline in 2-3 months at the rate the... um... moving on. And if I don't I'll probably be bored of it by then. In that case I'm only out like 50 dollars(3 dollar game, first month probably free, and then 2 months of subscription), and people spend that kind of scratch on games all the time.

But I've been looking at all the pre-order rewards, and they're stuff that just screams "I'm o the verger of being free to play." You even get stuff for buying the 30 dollar soundtrack. And why would anyone pay 30 dollars for a soundtrack? --because you get an exclusive wind up Dalamud minion, which does exactly nothing but float behind you!

I'm like, "Why should I invest any money into this game that will probably be F2P before I even finish it?"

And there's no saying whether it'll be an annoying F2P game like Spiral knights, which has the worst "ending" ever. (You reached the center of the earth. Time to buy some in game keys so you can fight some bosses that will do NOTHING for you, except maybe drop some great armor, which will do NOTHING, because you're here, at the end of the world. *confetti*) Or TF2, which is what every F2P game should aspire to be, in my experience.

What if Nintendo buys them? :U
