[Kegan] 285 in sales minus 60 in booth fee means I finish the day 225 dollars richer. Not shabby. POKAMAN

Thinking about saving up for a wiiU, but I don't have an HD television, and I only really have enough income to buy the games I want on one system.
I should do whatever makes me the least miserable in the long run, I guess.

3DS > Wii U. In terms of quality games available and affordability.

I decided to play a nuzlocke run of pokemon crystal in the mean time, and holy hell i don't remember this game being so slow and boring and text filled and slow and poison was such bullshit. Pokemon never recover from it. When you run out of antidotes you're just ******** in the butt. FECK DAT.

All of my 3Ds games are missing. Suddenly carrying every game card in one case doesn't feel that smart. I never really take it places with me, except on road trips, so more than likely one of the kids walked off with it.
I mean, it was just convenient to have them all in one small case by my desk, but oh boy, I ought to know better.

I came home from my show today and Jude had broken into my room, which isn't hard, since the glass french doors of my room don't even have turning knobs. and pulled all my blinds up, and lowered my desk chair to like floor level (A good indication that he'd been sitting at my desk for a while.) and probably did a dozen other things I'm not aware of.
I feel bad to exclude him from things I do with his twin, like how I let aidan play mario kart in my room just about whenever he asks, but Jude is violent and has no inhibitions regarding the treatment of well, anything, really. I walked by his room today and he had knocked his TV off it's stand and was screaming like a giant infant. The TV looked probably broken, but whatever. That's his stuff. I don't want him in my room.
He's kinda a little psychopath. He kicked his twin for playing piano, and then punched him when he tried to explain what had happened, and then when my mom tried to make them hug and make up, he just lunged at him and decked him again.
For playing a few notes on the god damned piano!

Aidan's perfectly rude, too, but in a normal 8 year old way. He doesn't ask before taking games down off my shelf, and he's gotten a weird fascination with examining box art and manuals lately.
all the alternate covers and nintendo branding on my card case may have simply been too tempting not to take.

And then there's the chance that I left it somewhere months ago the last time I took a road trip. Jesus.
All I have is mario kart and animal crossing now.

False alarm, people, it was in a clothing drawer for reasons unknown, unknowable, and probably twin related.

...I'm going to need this crotchety old man to realize that being an a*****e isn't good motivation for anyone, but sure as hell not me.
In other news, I think I'ma attempt to breed a shiny Eebee, a shiny female. /insanity.
Now if only I can get ahold of a foreign Ditto...

The review at IGN sucked. It mostly was about how it didn't live up to his preconcieved notions of what a sonic game is, as opposed to just judging it as a game in general.
I liked kotaku's review, which seems more objective. They briefly complain about how they ditched the sonic generations formula, but go on to evaluate the game for what it is. I mean, it's not ever specific about the parts of the game that bugged them, and that's annoying, but it mostly gave me the impression that the game as a whole is a bit unpolished, but probably fun anyway.
